I use a band saw for most jobs. I just need a bigger band saw since I can only cut 4" thick and the throat is only about 8" so i'm somewhat limited

10 doller electric carving knife works great too.

I just use a ceramic knife with silicone sprayed on and get great blocks...takes a little practice but it is WAY cheaper.

I don't know where you can buy a tool like that, but I have seen people get excellent results by cutting foam with an electric knife as well. It's probably a lot cheaper as well. Just a thought

Whey do you get that type of foam from, EPP right, I plan on buying some for making an RC airplane. Please let me know.

This one can be use also on garment, there is a blade on the tool, not a hotwire.
