lol...great stuff and you have just inspired me to try some of your techniques in my own state. What depth do you fish most often for stripes? For me it's about 15-30. By the way, great hook sets...lol. Reminds me of how my striper buddy sets his fishes. Keep the great videos coming.
Its awesome to see this! I live in central cali & our waters are getting overfished. People dont obey the laws & take fish over their limit or undersized! HAVE FUN!
I'm using spoons, swim baits and jigs. The key seems to be variety. Mix it up till you find what they want and then change if they quit biting. I was out today and we trolled a 24 lb'er and jigged a 26 lb'er! What a day. I got video of both. Oh, and I'm not a guide. I just do this for fun :)
You should be a guide because you can land them on fish all the time. You teach them and get them on fish, AWSOME! May i ask who are these people you fish with, friends, family?
They are friends and family. On this trip I had the Athletic Director from my Son's school and his Son. As you saw, the little Guy had all he could handle with that 12 lb Striper. As for guiding, I'll pass. I do like bringing people out and fortunately can find fish most every trip but I wouldn't have as much fun if I turned it into a job.
A true man with a true passion. I fish as much as I can and would like to become a professional tournament angler for largemouth. You could probably do the same if the FLW tour does any for stripers? im not too sire but if i were you id look into it.
how did will stripers go in the summer...I didn't think there was enough oxygen down deep.

Awsome! You are a cool guide getting them on on some "cows" What did you use as a jig, lure, or what have you?

cool stuff. Here in idaho we just fish trout, some smallmouth bass, and yellow perch. i would love to find some big stripers like that.
