I have a lake not far from my house and ducks can go all over the city if they want to. But last time I've seen ducks in my pool, they were all dead because of the chlorine :'(

We used to get ducks at the very end of the winter in the water that had accumulated in our pool cover. Hubby chased them because they foul the water with their poop. They would do that in your pool, too.

Your a fucking moron! You should have chased them out rather then watched them. If chlorine hurts our eyes what do you think will happen to the ducks? THINK ABOUT IT NEXT TIME

Were they able to get out? I saved a gaggle of baby ducks when their mother jumped a curb, I picked them up and put them up on the curb, and she got angry at me. :P

In several occasions, I grabbed ALL babies of a mother duck and put them in a bag. Then I crashed all babies to death by a big stone. At first, the bitch quacked, but after I put food on the ground, she stopped quacking and enjoyed the food. Later other ducks joined the food party and the bitch kept enjoying the food. No chirping => the bitch forgot she had babies. Mother ducks = real bitches!!!!!!!!

Come on, I was doing research on duck behaviors. I proved that mother ducks have no real love. Their own safety > their babies safety.

Omg, this same thing happened to me twice a few months ago!! This mother and her ducklings kept going in the ppol and we had to scoop them out. The mother got pretty mad and cautious about us humans since we'd touched her babies but hey we were doing her a favor and getting her ducklings out of the pool!!!

only if the drink the water... it can also dry out there feet but it wont hurt there feather any. what we found that works is to put a plank board in the water and then they can get out on there own. you may have to put a piece of foam on the end that goes in the water but it does work.
