  • Other than music creation, this is another form of Tomo's creation!

  • thats awesome. So unique. Nice strat too. I like that color.

  • what tuning is he using here?

  • reminds me of an 80s themesong of a sitcom type of tv show.....

  • Awesome, would love to see a tab of notation, or just know the tuning!!

Definate mayer influence, but something unique too.

  • wooooaah that's sick! come out with an album and ill definitely buy one.

  • Wow man! This is sick. That really fast hammered lick almost sounds like a Celtic drone thing. Massively dig! Keep it up and see you around 150!

  • Amazing!

Good Luck for Your Future, Michael.

Tomo, he is in your hands. Good Job! ;)

  • Thank you! It was my pleasure to work with many passionate students from all over the world.

    Tomo

  • Very Cool, and inspiring at the same time. Nicely Done!!

  • that was pretty intense. its like he was using a delay, but he wasnt.

    thats sick

  • hopefully i'll be there a few years

  • Wow! I really like that! It almost has a bit of an acoustic vid but that strat has a sweet little tone. He definately has a great teacher though. I really enjoy watching you do your thing with funk.

  • Woah, this is really cool!, i can't come with a long explenation why, in the other video i said, that guy can play, but man, that guy can REALLY play! i need to get down in my basement now and play for a couple of hours.

  • I love the strat combined with I think open C# tuning? I think that's an innovative direction for him to take, considering that open tunings have been confined to slide, acoustic, or sonic youth in popular music. I like the triplet feel towards the end as well, and the displaced sense I get from the melody. If you continue to extend it I would say pay attention to the rhythms you use because no matter the melody it may end up making one "zone out". He should listen to Wayne Krantz's new record!!

  • Dude...what about this kids video makes you think he should listen to Krantz's...you saying that he should listen to krantz is like me going to a basketball player and being like ...hey you should watch how my dad mows the fucking lawn

  • I don't think I was that far off, and besides inspiration can come from anything. There are several tracks Krantz's album that are unique only to him, and he is all substance. There's no flash at all in his playing technically speaking imo. Also he plays through a strat, uses suspended chords and open strings, and sounds amazing. So besides the three points I brought up in my other posts being now pointed out, I would also say that he is an individual in a sea of copycats, something we all want.

  • what tuning is it in? open something i assume?

  • this sounds like it'll sound great on an acoustic guitar. sounds Justin King-ish

  • Amazing

  • whoa great!

i LOVE strats, but i think this would sound better in a warmer guitar, like and semi hollow...just my opinion anyway, keep up the good work!

  • Great stuff!!! love the transition from soft opening to the faster paced melody

  • Better than the first one.

  • awesome

    that's really cool
