Hey tomo could you recommend to some of your colleagues about doing a songwriting youtube series? Or if you also teach songwriting could you possibly do some videos on it?
Wow! I really like that! It almost has a bit of an acoustic vid but that strat has a sweet little tone. He definately has a great teacher though. I really enjoy watching you do your thing with funk.
Woah, this is really cool!, i can't come with a long explenation why, in the other video i said, that guy can play, but man, that guy can REALLY play! i need to get down in my basement now and play for a couple of hours.
I love the strat combined with I think open C# tuning? I think that's an innovative direction for him to take, considering that open tunings have been confined to slide, acoustic, or sonic youth in popular music. I like the triplet feel towards the end as well, and the displaced sense I get from the melody. If you continue to extend it I would say pay attention to the rhythms you use because no matter the melody it may end up making one "zone out". He should listen to Wayne Krantz's new record!!
Dude...what about this kids video makes you think he should listen to Krantz's...you saying that he should listen to krantz is like me going to a basketball player and being like ...hey you should watch how my dad mows the fucking lawn
I don't think I was that far off, and besides inspiration can come from anything. There are several tracks Krantz's album that are unique only to him, and he is all substance. There's no flash at all in his playing technically speaking imo. Also he plays through a strat, uses suspended chords and open strings, and sounds amazing. So besides the three points I brought up in my other posts being now pointed out, I would also say that he is an individual in a sea of copycats, something we all want.
Complimenti!! Veramente bravissimo!!

Wow man! This is sick. That really fast hammered lick almost sounds like a Celtic drone thing. Massively dig! Keep it up and see you around 150!
