  • This isnt to be mean, but that is why there is child locks, and you always Buckle up! Thank the lord he lived!

  • The Father should be placed under arrest for this

  • no matter how much your kid screams GET OUT GET OUT! KEEP THEM IN THE SEAT AT ALL TIMES!

  • that is child abuse the father should go to jail

  • made me cry! even though i knew he was gonna make it i criedd so hard /:

  • did he die or he fine now

  • are you sure this is episode 714?

    what about

"Rescue 911 - Episode 714 - Runaway school bus" I think you made a mistake.

  • @Tmineff Yes, Runaway school bus, Las Vegas kids documentary, Kneeborder hits tree, this segment, and Frozen boy were all part of Episode 714.

  • my heart stopped as well.... it scared hte life out of me!!

It was the father's heart but still- imagine how the dad felt!!

  • damn brat, he'll never do it again, lesson learned, character built.

  • Did the kid die?

  • My mom makes my 2year old brother sit in the backseat w/ the securtiy lockes on

  • walmart?

  • i wonder if this father got cited for not having his child restrained?

  • walmart in this segment of rescue 911

  • That guy made a very wrong choice to put that car seat in the front he should put the seat in the middle back seat. l learned that in the driving book.

  • child lock needed!

  • so the baby died after this..can someone confirm this?

  • Why the hek would someone unbuckle there young child from a car seat while a car is moving? thats crazy. Kids that young are going to want to touch anything that has a handle. Im glad that he survived.

  • I'm glad he did not die. I was so impressed and amazed that he survived. I'm glad God was there to help him.

  • Darn Right

  • This video should teach every parent a VERY valuble lesson. You NEVER un buckle your child and drive around no matter how short the distance!! This dad should have been punished for his actions. This could have been very easily prevented!! Keep your child buckled in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with everything you said except that the dad should be punished. What would that do? Don't you think the guilt is enough?

  • didnt they already cover that in the show? he said he made the mistake? and he learned from it. he didnt want his child to be in that accident...now u gotta repeat basically what they said on the video...point was already made before u came along

  • I agree 100% k022385.

  • a child lock would have precented this incident

  • That EMT was fucking jacked.

  • I CAN NOT believe they let a toddler sit unrestrained in a truck... in 1996 too, we all knew the dangers of unrestrained kids then... no excuse, to me that is neglect.

  • i heard he died is that true?

  • thats why there are child safety locks in car nowadays

  • stupid dad its his fault

  • 1:14 The tragity happens

OH NO! toddler falls and hits ground very hard at 1:18

    FREAK OUT!!!!!! 1:24

  • that could have been prevented

  • No matter what the kid does, the kids carseat belt should always be put on.

  • That should be put in cars manufactured today.

  • if this was a black family they would have taken the child away.... some people no matter what color don't deserve to be considered parents.

  • No they wouldn't, why would you think that, all parents, people make mistakes we are only human after all, we are only human.

  • I hope he's better now.

  • No he passed away from complications from this accident.

  • I think it happened after this segment was aired.

  • How Do you know That?

  • in the imdb section called "Events in your area" for rescue 911 theres an article that talks about his death, there was comments from the family possibly.

  • I couldn't Find It.

  • hey can u send me the link 2 the article please, thanks

  • Omg he died =\ im sad now poor bby

  • yeah i was surprised he died.

  • he didn't die though...

  • ok thers a special thing called a child protection locked from inside so your children dont die my inocent freedom fighters

  • maybe the dad was not just thiming and had a brain fart lol

  • hahhaha lmao brain fart

  • just he have special needs now or not

  • poor boy

  • i love watching how strong babies can be... check out the baby that fell from a 7 story building...it was amazing

  • Child will make a full recovery but unfortunately, also with a full mullet. lol...Poor kid.

  • in my uncles truck the door popped open and my granny almost fell out when he was driving but he reached across me and grabbed her but she had on her waist seat belt but not the shoulder one and in my car it doesnt move until everyone has their seat belts on

  • a code white is an accident at walmart

  • Thats what child locks are for

  • there aren't any on front doors of pick-ups but that is what car seats are for, he should have made sure the kid was resecured first

  • didn't have em back then

  • a nurse and a former EM all around at the same time is just an ironic miracle

  • GEEZ! How stupid can you be driving at any speed, any distance with a child, paticularly a small child, unbuckled??!!?? Idiot!

  • yea i have to agree

  • Is he brain damaged?

  • no n o no you never move a vehicle with a kid unbuckled. even if it's just a few feet. kids are quick. my kids know, if they arent' buckled, my car don't move. and if they unbuckle before the car stops, they are taking a nice little time out or are getting grounded. there was a kid here killed cuz he was unbuckled, opened the door fell out the car door and mom didn't know and ran over him while parallel parking.

  • the guy sounds like travis tritt when hes yelling.

  • why did he move him bad man

  • The dude has brown eyes yet his son has blue? Hate to say it guy, but that kid aint yours.

  • I'm pretty sure if the dad didn't have blue eyes his mom probably did...

  • u can have 2 parents both with brown eyes, as long as one of their parents have blue, cause blue is the dominant colour.

  • No, sorry Brown is the dominant color.

  • ur right, my bad (hey its been a long time since school lol) x

  • lol, it's ok. My mom has green eyes, my dad brown and I have brown eyes. If I would have come out with eye color other than brown then the mailman would have been blamed :)

  • lol fair enough. x enjoy 911

  • Well my dad has brown eyes and my mum has blue eyes and myself, my sis and my brother all have hazel eyes....

  • co-dominance. It happened to me too. :)

  • Everyone's eyes are blue underneath, but people with green and brown eyes have pigment covering up the blue. The amount of pigment you have will affect your eye color (so if you have no pigment, you will have blue eyes).

  • Have you had any luck in getting this wonderful to be released on DVD. I along with many have signed your petition

  • Not yet, we'll need a lot more votes before that will happen.

  • hey did you make your user name all good be cause in the resuce 911 videos that they live is that why your user name is all good?

  • yes

  • And that is why all babies(human at least) have blue eyes when they are born.

  • just goes to show wal mart is good for nothing!

  • lol.

  • good point walmart ruins the world

  • i know wal mart always ruins the world its an obvious!!

  • I've never had anything life threating happen to me,and I'm thankful for that. But I watch these, and I put myself in the people's shoes, and that makes me even more thankful.

  • why did an EMT take over Patent care when a RN was there; That's abandonment is it not? I know there has to be a duty to act. Are RN's under the same oath as doctors that are on a 24/7 duty to act?

  • I agree with you. An RN has more training than an EMT does. But it wouldn't look right if an EMT just said "oh, you continue care, I'll stand back". It's the EMT's job to provide care.

  • I'm pretty sure that it was abandonment, the only way it may not be abandonment is the duty to act was not present. transfer of care only goes Higher never lower.

  • Unless the RN works in the Emergency Room, she or he isn't going to be up-to-date on emergency procedures. If you don't constantly use what you learn, you'll forget parts of it.

Therefore, the EMT will have more knowledge than the RN.

Everyone thinks nurses know more than Paramedics, but it isn't true unless the Nurse works in Critical Care.

I'm a Paramedic. We learned in training that we're not supposed to give over the patient's care to any other than a Critical Care RN--and I never do.

  • I understand that and i agree with what was done. i was just pointing it out. I'm a Nationally registered EMT also. Going to paramedic school here in a few years. if the RN doesnt know to maintain ABC's should not be working.

  • Actually, I was thinking of intubation.

A nurse can't intubate a patient unless she (or he) works in Critical Care.

Or so my friend, an RN who works in Home Health Care, tells me. She said she's not allowed to intubate patients.

I was truly shocked when I heard this, b/c I thought nurses knew everything we know.

  • Yeah some of the protocols are stupid. Like EMT-s not allowed to use certain glucose reading tools. medical field is crazy. Doctors have no clue on pre-hospital procedures lol

  • Wal-Mart in 1995? We didn'ty have a Wal-Mart in Woodbridge back then. They didn't come up here until 2000's. Our Wal-Mart is always crowded including the parking lot

  • Wow poor thing! Yes u can't give in no matter how much they scream and fuss. Safety is first! Poor thing he looks like he has some brain damage but thank God he lived!

  • ONce when I was little I fell out of my moms van and luckly I did not hurt my self just one scrape on the knee thats all

  • he should of straped his son back in before he drived.that almost happened to me!my mum was driving down a hill and i suddenly forogt my seat belt was off and the window was open!we were next to another car and my head tipped out of the window. i pulled myself back in thank god becuase i was gonne bang into their window!

  • i bet the father pushed him out.....

  • he got back into the game like 50 cent he a g fo dat strong lil bwoy!

  • man what a lucky little kid.How could falling out of a truck not that far from the ground going a slow speed do so much damge. I wonder if the kid really died a year later from complications from the incident. if he did how sad.

  • It would probably be like having a bike accident on pavement without a helmet.

  • omg that happened to me once. yestesrday i was riding my bike and (on th sonw, yses i no its stupid) i fell and got hit my a car. very suprisingly, all that was broken was 6 of my fingers and all 10 of my toes.

  • Wow yeah I didn;t expect him to get that hurt like that form the fall maybe a broken bone but my goodness he really got banged up! This shows u how u have to be careful and not take any chances! God gives us common sense and we have to use it and not just say God won't let this happen. Wow.

  • This boy probably suffered the most serious injuries I've ever seen on this show. It amazes me that falling out of the car could do so much damage, especially considering some of the stuff that people survive on this show. I really hope he turned out okay. :(

  • Exactly! And he looked like he had some brain damamge too poor thing.

  • its sad. here he's so young and fragile and falls, hits the ground, and has to spend so long in the hospital. me i'm 21, i smacked my head against the ground earlier this yr, got out in 24hrs. i feel so bad for the boy.

  • do any of them die on-show? i understand the helpless feeling it happend to me today...i did CPR but she stil died en-route. she waked across the road and got hit at 40 mph,she was on her phone and didnt realise the car...

  • Sometimes. "Runaway Boxcars" from 119, "Butane Huffing" from 520, and "Repentent Drunk Driver" from 613 are a few where someone dies.

  • i was crying it was sad

  • I got bad news about this kid on this show. He died of complications after this segment aired. A year after or somewhere around there.

  • Where did you hear about that?

  • Earlier comments of this segment. That's how I knew about it.

  • Oh bravo! You believe the words of idiots.

  • My uncle fell out of a car when he was a kid but that was nothing compared to what this kid went though.

  • I wonder if the car seat was buckled to the car or not because it looked like the seat went out the door with the kid. Hmmm...just a thought.

  • Child Lock...

  • i know that was a doll..but still damn!...just imagine...

  • God had nothing to do with this, mainly because there is no god. This was purely an accident with a small chance of actually ever happening, but it did. He fell on the ground, and to all of you that say god saved this child that is not true because the doctors with our science back at that time and our medical knowledge are the ones that saved him. If there is a god, I say he or she only does one thing and that is kill people which is a useless action that needs to be stopped by "God".

  • damned straight!!! no god just a medical mirical! thanks to science and technology!! and medical advances!!

  • I don't think the guy is a horrible father, he just made a bad choice. He's human and sometimes in life, things happen. He learned a very important lesson i'm sure, keep kids in their carseats at all times. Glad the little boy survived. The real mom (not the actress) looked pretty hot

  • i gotta question, why do paramedics let people continue what they are doing even though they are on the scene, i've seen it in real life, someone had their hands on a bleeding leg and they didn't take over. is this normal/allowed??

  • It takes the paramedics a minute or two to get set up, so if the civilians are administering first-aid correctly, the paramedics let them continue so they can set up faster. I think they say this in "CPR Parking Lot" from Episode 628.

  • ooooooooo, thanks

  • That is correct, in addition for your question specifically about "hands on bleeding" if they let go the bleeding could get worse. Wait for EMS to tell you to stop, this way there wont be a long interruption between your actions and theirs.

  • we have child proof. doors in all my cars!

    thank god.=]

    but thats really sadd.=[

  • Yeah you should be with me beacuse it's true :O

  • but wat did the dad do?

  • Call for help and beeing in panic because his son looked dead. He held his wifes hand when she came out and tried as hard as he could.

  • He needs to be charged with child endangering. Some people just do not need to have kids! And yes it IS the dad's fault. You do not let a child especially as little as that one out of a car seat in the car. There's a reason they make seatbelt and carseats!

  • Oh lord! Why do all blame the father? is not he's fall that the little kid falls out. It's nobodys fall, are you all stupid? don't blame anywhan for this, it could happend to everybody!

  • It's the fathers fault for not keeping him in his car seat while in the car like you are SUPPOSED too. He should have been arrested!

  • holy moly..loves park is like 30 mins from me. Praise God the kid is ok

  • He fell in gods hands god saved him!!!!!

  • MY neighbor falled out of his car a while ago . HE was injuring his legs.

  • sad about what happened, but so happy the baby recovered!!

  • |:( fuckin' idiot!

  • I think his father had a similar accident and is still the only braindead person with a drivers license in the world.

  • F*cking dumb ass dad! People to need to take some kind of classes or something before they have kids.

  • would you say the same thing about u if u were the dad of that kid if no please f*ck off

  • I wouldn't be as stupid as that dad.

  • What was the father thinking undoing the car seat???

  • Apprantly he doesn't know how to take care of kids.

  • it always seems to happen a nurse was there to help i find the to be a wierd(spelled wrong) but u get the point

  • stupid father. jeeeez

  • GOD DAMIT i wish did kind of stuff did not happen !!!

  • never would have happened to me or my siblings, whenever we started crying or yelling, we got the slap and were told to shut up.....guess thtat worked

  • sad

  • I'm so mad at that father. WTF was he thinking!! That poor baby!!

  • Well my old step father had a truck and I had 3 younger sibilings and it was aways crouded in there. And my mean step dad who is going to prison alwayed aergued with me on getting in. I hate that man so much!

  • thank you for posting

  • wow, this dude is a unfit father. Unbuckling a child's seat while driving.

  • And I was pissed when that father said "See, you made Mom mad." Hey, it isn't the baby's fault...

  • i'm only 13 but i felt angry, cramped, restrained when my buckle was on i would always take it off like that baby,we got a bakwords baby seat and door locks (opens only from outside) and i could have ny belt off safely.

  • Its not safe for kids to sit in the front seat. I don't even like to ride in a truck, there too small in the pasiger seat.

  • Too small? What the hell are you talking about.

Trucks offer the biggest interiors of any vehicles. Same goes for four door trucks.

And I wouldn't say hes an unfit father, moreso careless than anything. Nobody expects a kid to do that, more or less, he was just driving to the front doors. Thats an opening of maybe... 1 minute at most for disaster, give the guy a break.

  • when i was in 1 grade i lived in ms i had a frend her mom her and her sister were headed to a wedding and they were late so they were doing about 80 mph her little sister had undone her seatbelt and was pulling on the handle the mother had forgotten to lock the door and the sister was in the front seat the little girl opened the door and fell out and they didnt know until about 10 minutes later by the time they went back she had gotten run over by a car and she died before the ambulance arrived

  • OMG that is just horrible :(

  • that's just awful! :(

  • I fell out of a family wagon van on a San Francisco freeway going 65 mph when I was 4...

I got not one scrape or bruise. God is real; miracles DO happen. I had an angel carry me that day! :o)

  • wow God was in that! :)

  • oh no poor baby:(

  • pagy we wagy over intercom

  • Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The same thing almost happened to me when I was 6. I didn't know what possessed me to open the car door while it was moving on the highway. I would've fallen out if my mom hadn't grabbed my arm at the last min & pulled back inside. My uncle was driving at that time.

  • How dumb can you be takin ur kid out of a car seat. i bet he wont do that anymore.

  • ME TOO!!!

  • 10 minutes? thats a pretty bad response time compared to where i live we only allow for 4 minutes response time

  • God Saves. Not Kills. How Dare She Blame God...

However, I'm Glad He Survived. I Hope He Is Alive And Well.

  • She did not blame God. She simply said she didn't believe He would do that to her.

  • i like walmart cause it's not expensive =)

anyway cool story, i bet it was hard for the dad considering it was he who unbuckled the kid

  • I hate walmart, but I love the people who work there, good honest people.

  • lol he acts like a ragdoll XD!!!

  • seriously lol at u if u were a ragdoll
