Oh, and apparently cyborg Noodle is no more. Real Noodle killed her. That or she malfunctioned. Also Russel seems to have shrunk quite a bit, but is still bout twice his normal size (art piece shows him sleeping on the roof of Gorillaz's new HQ, which is a somewhat normal house). Boogeyman will also reappear on Do Ya Thing, but doesnt seem to be an enemy anymore...

@idanyanai It's apart of the Gorillaz' story. Murdoc sells his soul to the devil for the band to become popular he changes his middle name to Faust. He kidnapped 2D for the band. He created a cyborg Noodle to replace her since apparently she died in Manana video. He excluded Russel from working on Plastic Beach. Russel and the real Noodle come back for revenge and possibly to save 2D from Murdoc in this vid.

For me, it's seems pretty clear that the song is talking about degradation of society, and the upcoming "apocalypse" that we can see ehen the guy with the gas mask turns around. Also, that when that apocalypse will come, madness will take many upon many humans, murdoc representing that, afraid at first, but embracing the last of the horsemen, which can be represented by either pestilence or victory, depending on how you see it. Maybe this could be my first top comment for that? XD

The gas mask guy's called the boogeyman, which is a moniker for Satan

It was previously stated that Murdoc sold his soul to Satan for the success of the band.

So that was probably just a flashback to the day of the deal and also the explanation for why the gas mask guy is after Murdoc. He's come to finally collect his soul
