I don't think people actually ask the kids if they like pageants or not ADULTS JUST ASSUME! I'm a kid who choice it has been to do pageants and I LOVE THEM! Stop criticizing tropic that you really dont know. I may think football is wrong because we shouldn't be teaching boys to beat each other up, but it's accepted? EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN SPORT.

And to mukaiko----there are some of us that don't care for fame. And there are MANY other ways to make money that the options youve stated. A good percentage of child stars have had unsuitable adult lives and falling outs due to not living a childhood. Some children may have fun but they should tone these down

Stop critisizing the parents? Then WHO? The kids? I was reading that the time it takes to-get-a-child-ready BEFORE show is near 3 hours. On top of that they must be coached and so forth. Where between that and school does a kid have time to just be a kid? I agree children are not a parent's personal barbie doll. Its more of a how much money does my mom have to spend contest. I think teaching a child to regularly use tanning, makeup, hair extensions negates them believing to have natural beauty.

SO TRUE!!!! Kids are supposed to be kids. Little girls aren't Barbie dolls. They should be wearing a $15 dollar dress not a $1,500 dress. They should be running around outside with their friends, learning their abcs and 123s and how to share, not how to put on makeup and get a spray tan. Toddlers & Tiaras is definatly TOO much TOO soon. They're practically sluts and they don't even have anything to show off!

I don't think that TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras" is teaching young girls to grow up really fast. I just think that it needs to be toned down, no offense to TLC though. And, I think that it's best for the TV show to avoid being forcefully cancelled
