  • he plays a retard in the movie

  • sylveste that is not true are the moste handsomest cutes man ever of all action stars love you ceep making good movies

  • Stallone suffers from self esteem issues here.

  • and actually he is not macho, yes he looks this way,but macho is man what use women just for sex,but SLY still said when he was falling in love he was totally,he is lady man,he love women

  • He makes Sly sound like a greedy selfish person. I can see how he would be upset about putting on weight, but thats normal for someone who has spent their whole life in shape! I love how he describes himself not being handsome in the normal way. I think he's super sexy!

  • @20thcenturylover56 SLY said he is not like he look,he is the opposite, very sensitive,soft,..just he made action movies, and that made action star of him, people replace him with his roles,I had chance met him perhaps 4 times it is long story, and let me tell you he is incredible humble, warm, kindness guy,I love him

  • @bibi5027 You met him 4 times? I would be happy with just one! I <3 him :)

  • @20thcenturylover56 and yes he is beautiful and sexy for me,yes he is not typical handsome, butis unique, and what make most beautiful is his amazing personality,he still has been radiate something, warm and kind to me

  • I hated when he made this film. He was shunning his macho image. Now he is playing up his macho image.

  • rambo I want not hear you can not look rambo I love you man

  • Ha ha we all know how you gain the weight but how did you lose it?

  • Sly as Superman that would be epic! Nice interview though!

  • stallone should play an older darker batman.

  • he aint ugly hes unique and i especialy love his eyes

  • @xMusicXcisuMx No he is beautiful to me,and what make him beautiful is his amazing personality

  • @bibi5027 i agree

  • Sly I disagree. You're damn good looking and the clay didn't fall off the table. It's just like it's supposed to be.

  • sly isnt a bad looking cat, he's 62 now and he looks great!! he is tore up too, so what if he uses hgh or juices, he is a great actor and a nice guy too.

  • Jee...I think he is a really handsome dude o.O

  • sly is not bad looking.

  • @SH1N081 Sly's damn good looking ;) imo

  • @SH1N081 THANK YOU! He's hot to me, especially in Rambo *swoons* lol

  • i like all of his films,he started in porn right?he would begood in a mafia movie

  • the funny thing is is that the way sly looked in copland is the way he looks now but hey he's still cool

  • He looks nothing like he did in Copland. He was fat in Copland and now he's cut out of stone. I take it you haven't seen the recent pics floating around the internet.

  • (i know your comment was 9 months ago but..) he didnt look 'cut out of stone' 9 months ago or even 9 years ago dude. In rocky, he looked impressive *for his age*... and i can tell thats the last time he'll ever attempt a rigerous transformation again (because thats was it was, a painful, lengthy, laborous, agonizing TRANSFORMATION from what he normally looks like), being the reason he was clothed in rambo, the franchise where he was routinely shirtless, even more so than the rocky series...

  • 1) lol... OK, he kept his shirt on because it was ridiculous in the other Rambos where he was running around 130 degree desert with no shirt. Running around with no shirt in those days was a vanity thing and even Stallone admits it was ridiculous, though cool because he was always so ripped. But if you don't think the man can still get in shape then you haven't seen his video clip of him training for the Expendables. His abs are as deep as ever in that vid. He looks different yeah, but still cut

  • okay, but you haveto admit that strength gains are easier to achieve than stamina/slimming exercises (atleast i think so, not that i'd ever label weight lifting as easy)... as for me at sixty, my father is 69 this january, he lifts every other day in a gym and briskly walks 2-4 miles *a day* ... if it runs in the family, i'll be okay. I didnt intend to take anything away from stallone, i highly respect him, he's role-model status. i was just trying to throw a reality check out there...

  • and also, i just want to make it clear (i'm sure you know, but somebody who reads this may not) that stallone, schwarzanegger, whoever, does not look how they look in the movies 365 out of the year... nor do professional athletes. I also HATED the script/screenplay/story for terminator3, but i'd say arnold beasted stallone in the 'transformation' category for that one, compared to rocky6. Love stallone, but THAT was amazing...

  • 1) @toriyamaZ True, they don't look exactly like that year round. But in order to get to where he got he had to maintain some sort of conditioning. You never see Stallone walking around really out of shape. Now, Stallone did look different in Rocky 6. He bulked up quite a bit from his normal size and weight. He was over 200lbs in Rocky 6. He built his body for the role of an older heavyweight that trained purely for strength. Look at him now for Expendables you'll see he's quite slimmer.

  • @toriyamaZ But if you look at him in the last Rambo, you can see he beefed the fuck up. He wanted Rambo to look like a lumberjack, like someone who could rip a man's head off. Look at the size of his traps in that movie. You NEVER saw Stallone that big before. That looked like a transformation to me. Stallone weighed about 220lbs for that film, confirmed by Gunnar Peterson. He might not be as "pretty" as he was 25 years ago, but he's still hard as a rock. Let's see how you look at 60...

  • His face looks similar when he isnt watching his weight (like before and after Rocky Balboa for a while).

  • Sly should stick to the action...everyone knows he is a great actor. He has a intensity that no one else can match. I would have loved to see him as Superman.

  • @poolboyinla

    I love Stallone...

but like the man said in Coming to America

"You want to keep working here...stay off the drugs"

    as supes...you crazy! ;)

  • cop land was fuckin awesome. end of story. stallone was underrated in this film. BIG TIME ..de niro, liotta, and sly. can a movie get any better????

  • poolboyinla is wrong to say it sucked. Cop land is a good movie , its obviously not an 'action' film like Rambo which i like as well but it is overall a quality film . Stallone shows he can act well.

  • i guess the 2-3 protein shakes a day, cup of oatmeal and 5 soft boiled eggs without the yolks is not enough nutrition to build muscle while making body fat % go down??? ANYONE KNOW??

  • Well, don't forget he's in the position of consuming nothing but fresh foods. 'Normal' consumers just have to take what the local supermarket has to offer. I know that next to this he also takes great supplements like strong amino acids and multi vitamin packs. That combined with a shit load of water and you're well ahead on your way.

  • yeah, i was just wondering if its possible to go on a "healthy breakfast and protein shake" DIET, and still build muscle..... i work out 5 to 6 days a week, intake plenty of nutrition, but some days its so easy to just make protein shakes with fruit and peanut butter and NOT cook... and its cheaper... i was wondering if its good to just do that... probably not, seeing as it would be EASY, haha

  • Well, to my imagination, if you would only eat one food meal for breakfast, the rest protein shake meals you have more space for variation. The more food meals you eat the less ability there is for variation. Just make sure that when you start feeling hungry in the day and night time you supply yourself with quality carbs.

  • I think his diet after copland which he described was more geared to lose fat than to build up muscle mass.. I have his book "sly moves" where he describes several diets n stuff.. his normal eating habbit is a lot of quality carbs and healty fat like olive oil n of course protein mostly from chicken/ham and fish.. it's a pretty cool book. Also reveals how he got prepaired for each film.. funny written too..!

  • Wow, interesting. I think I should get this book. Does he describe his diet, his workout or both routines for each film??

  • In the beginning of the book he describes how he got into weight-lifting and bodybuilding, also tells little stories about his life before he was famous.. then his eating and workoutroutine for the rambo and rocky movies and for copland.. basically the movies when he did "reinvent" his body. he also states that he did a lot of mistakes back then and there is a detailed workout and dietplan at the end where he explains is the "right plan". For each move the training and diet is not much detailed.

  • that book is rubbish. sly never mentioned the word steroids

  • ... i'm literally buying it

  • 2) @toriyamaZ And yes, Arnold did look better physique wise for T3. Bet let's be honest here; Arnold is a 7 time Mr.O. on top of that Arnold started training for T3 back in 2001. He's a little younger than Sly, not by much. A year or so. But when you get that old every year counts. I have my doubts that Arnold could get in that kind of shape again, only because he doesn't do it as often anymore. Sly still maintains conditioning year round, even if he's not as big as in Rambo or Balboa.

  • ::tosses up the golf clap::

but i've never seen the expendables (i know about him gaining fat for it tho), and if he seriously did weigh over 200 lbs for R6 then it'd be the first time he was that weight for a rocky lol (rocky typically weighed in at 200-202 in the movies, but rocky was supposed to be taller than stallone is... and his rocky 3 and 4 build'd never make him 200 lbs, IMHO...)

but anyway stallone's the man, infinite props...

  • The golf clap thing was stupid, but anyway Of course Stallone never weighed as much as a real heavyweight. Although in Rocky 2 he was pretty close, he still wasn't over 200lbs. In Rocky 3 he got down as low as 155lbs to enhance Mr. T's size and make him look bigger than he really was. He didn't maintain it long and filming for the fight scenes he was around 170.

  • @toriyamaZ And where did u hear he got fat for Expendables? Expendables is his new movie incase you're confused. Copland he got fat and in F.I.S.T. he went to over 200lbs for the role. Other than that he's never appeared fat in his other films. There's a youtube video of him working out with Gunnar Peterson for the Expendables. You need to check it out. It's been out for about a year and I don't see any fat on him..lol. He even said though Rocky Balboa was the 1st time he was a real heavyweight

  • @toriyamaZ Gunnar also trained him for Rambo and Gunnar said Stallone weighed in at around 220lbs. So back to my original point, Stallone can still do what ever he wants with his body to fit the role. In Expendables he looks a lot slimmer than in Rocky Balboa. And he's naturally a slim guy anyway. The extra weight in Rocky Balboa and Rambo is not what he looks like walking around. But he typically stays in good shape year round.
