  • do you edit with premiere pro? use a highpass filter to cut the wind noise, maybe a low pass filter to get rid of the bird lol

  • i love your photos (especially the photographer).. :)

  • you didnt say fro knows photo right... whats the deal

  • That bird knows photo.

  • I know that Nikon started the whole DSLR video thing with the Nikon D90, but now Canon is ahead of Nikon with it on the lower to mid end of their cameras. My opinion: DSLRs are still mostly about the stills and the video is just a little "bonus." I choose Nikon, because I'm all about the stills and less about the video. I'm not saying that Canon doesn't do well with stills, but I just think that Nikon does slightly better. I wish Nikon had a high-end 50mm like Canon's. I'm broke anyway.

  • Bird problem? There's an app for that.... it's called REMINGTON!

  • What settings do you recommend on D90 ? meaning Picture Control Settings? any tricks while filming?

  • cool thanks saw do you suggest to film with a SLR

    cause Ialso do video

the problem with SLR is that they are very expensive

if you shoot a wedding with a SLR would the owners

    be happy?

    thansk

  • He commandeth the birds and they hear his voice and obey.... we bow down to the mighty fro!!!

  • Yeah, that's hard to decide whether you will shoot video or still for a certain event... If I shoot stills I might miss a shot.. If I shoot video I'll get the whole thing but in a larger file and not so good quality...

On the other hand, I love DSLR video, the best value for video.

  • Stupid ass

  • ha ha ha, shot up bird, lol.

  • 1:18 lol

The video quality was very good. People think that if they had video on their dslr that they wont use it. but its a great feature to have.

  • that bird knows whos boss!

  • For sports photography in the long run would you recommend nikon or canon?

  • @ihateyaacov What type of sports do you shoot??

  • @JaredPolin rugby league, soccer, basketball

  • @ihateyaacov Nothing beats the d3s at this point in my opinion. I love Nikon. I will say every sports illustrator photograper went from canon to Nikon whe. The d3 came out.

  • @JaredPolin ah, its just that you always see the white or grey lenses at sports games so it got me wondering... i know you love nikon and all that so you would know in the long run would it be cheaper to invest in canon and buy their glass because i heard the huge telephoto nikon lenses are more expensive. Also are there any sports you would recommend one over the other?

  • @ihateyaacov Now a days it's split pretty evenly between Nikon and canon on the sidelines. Just knowing that all the si shooters went from canon to Nikon says a lot to me. Both glass is amazing but nothing beats the d3s now.

  • @JaredPolin Thanks mate

  • @JaredPolin Just wondering why did you start off with a nikon or why do u just not like canon. is it the feel in the hands?

  • @JaredPolin but will be going on holiday and shooting some snow sports at end of year

  • Where can I find your photographic work?

    Thanks!

  • @FirebrandNIRE you can see my work at jaredpolin dot come and also on flicrk

  • @JaredPolin

    wow! Fantastic website!

    Many thanks

  • 2:05 lol again

  • imho the point is the control of the depth of field. that's not possible with a camcorder.

  • @Sinwori 100% agree

  • 1:13 i was like ohh Nature boy and you killed it at 1:17 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA LMAO

  • @Bader88 agree :D:D

  • good stuff man. glad you answered my video question. keep it up. fro's getting an A+ on this video.

  • Thanks for the video. That was so impressive. I have D300s and have not even played with the video and until now have not really had the desire. Looking at how sharp the picture is, is just awesome. I can see every hair of that Fro. The DOF is spectacular. I have to say I do not want to see any more YouTube videos in standard definition. You will just have to set up the camera on you desk from now on :) Thanks

  • On that intro, you should make it where he clicks the shutter

  • @timmyguy13 Great idea

  • i love the quality i digg the frow shut up bird lol thats how i talked to my birds when i had them im getting a d5000 im saving up 1/2 the money and my moms doing the other 1/2 and tax

  • @JazzeRae360 sweet, that will be a nice set up!!!

  • The fro is looking super sharp in this vid... awesome quality. Wish i had this camera.

  • Once again, awesome video!! Did I pick up on you saying you can't use Auto Focus when your filming? Is this true?

  • @markusbob Well some of the cameras let you auto focus but very very slowly and you pick up the sound did i mention very very slowly?

  • lol 'Shut up bird!!'

    Thanks for sharing Jared.

  • @fallenembers08 and the bird did shut up now didnt it.
