The song is actually used in the Taiwan/Mandarin version of the movie when Vivien Hsu's character is dying in the train station. Unfortunately, this very touching scene is not included in other cuts that I know of which makes her death very un-dramatic. The scene almost made me cry when I watch it on VHS back in 2001. I can't find it again now though. If any one knows how to track down the Taiwan/Mandarin version please post.
