woow jaja excellent interpretation of one of my favorite songs by the mexican composer, Julio Cesar Oliva. Just perfect. i hope you can interpretate another piece from the suite montebello :) thanks.
hey Peo great performance!there is a petition I would like to make !I really want to watch you play the song called la bikina ,cesar oliva!i want to be able to hear that song with your amazing guitar sound!
Wow, great arrangement and playing. Do you know the third movement, Floresta? It's such a beautiful tune, and there's no good recording/video of it anywhere on the internet. I would love if you could do that one.
Es dificil interpretar a el maestro Julio Cesar y nos damos cuenta por algunos de los videos que estan en youtube...felicidades increible pieza y muy buena interpretacion de los mejores que he visto
I wanted to tell you that I just mastered this piece in Oliva's version. It's so sweet, and I've even gone on and learned "Una Flor en la Laguna." Oliva is such a genious writing this so beautiful music. For the moment I'm trying to master this last piece, and I hope I can post a couple of videos of these pieces. I wanted to tell you this, Peo, because listening to your playing made me venture into this difficult music. Thank you!
Hi, Im a mexican guitar player and I know Julio, so I will tell him u changed some notes... :) just kidding, its a good piece and its nicely played, congrats, try geting more of his unpublished music such as Sonata de la Muerte, Sonatango, Sonata Transfigurada, and more.
I thought I noticed a few notes were changed from the original version; although your arrangement and performance is as lovely as Oliva's. The only reason I wanted to ask you that is because I'm working on this piece (Oliva's version), and in some measures, there are long extensions and it requires a very skilled technique to hit the right notes without deterring the tempo and harmony.
I got a question about the sheetmusic of this lovely piece. In your video, are you playing the original version as written by Julio Cesar Oliva and published in his book Suite Montebello?
Peo, great guitarrists are recognized by their sound and their capability to control it, and yours is almost perfect - this video proves it - . Congratulations and thanks a lot for sharing so many - and so fantastic - videos.
Hey Peo, my deepest greeetings, and I have the sheetmusic of the suite, I can scan it and share it with you, axelinsky at gmail, write to me and I´ll send you the scores!!! I want to see you play this lovely suite!! Thanks for your dedication, and for the music.
Excelent and Beatifull interpretation of Julio Cesar Oliva, I have seem him playing this alive and you really do got what he was trying to express. Excelent *****!!
By the way, if there is anyone interested in having the partitures of this beautiful piece, you can all find them in guitarrisimo (com) As some of you already know, this piece is from a suite called "Suite Montebello"... Here you can find the first and second movement both beautifully composed. Have a nice day
You play real good, but your interpretation of this piece is kind of poor, it sounds extremely mechanical, try to give it a little rest and sing a lot more the melody. Speed and strict timing do not matter a lot. Actually, the music sheet says "Rubato", make it longer in time. Greetings.
You should stop alcool and hard drugs... No, you don't use?... Hmm... So, you should ask to Peo:
"Peo, can you tell me what is music, and what does that mean?"
Shame on you to dare to tell to this living legend of the guitar how he should play, and how badly he made his performance, which is absolutely out of good sense.
Wow! That's all I can say. I would really like to play this song but I don't think my ear is enough trained to do it all perfectly. Do you have any notes/tabs on this one? Anyways..Great job!
Hello Peo, your interpretation of this beautiful piece simply wonderful. Let me tell you that I met this great composer in person 2 years ago in Chihuahua, Mexico. He's just as sweet and kind as his music is, and being Mexican like Julio Cesar Oliva, it makes me more proud of his music and pleased to hear that wonderful interpreters like you, Peo, love to play his music. Congratulations for this sublime and lovely interpretation. Alffy1963.

Lovely piece with superb playing. Thank you again, Peo; it was a lovely conclusion to a difficult week (without enough guitar). To subscribers -- Oliva's CD, titled I think "La Guitarra de Cristal," is not something you will easily find in stores but is a superb addition to the guitar literature. He writes as you can see from "Tisu" in a very romantic, even 19th-century mode, which I like. Highly melodic, intensely emotional.

I had the honor to meet Julio César Oliva pesonally, and he reminds me of you in some way... He's an amazing musician, but he's still so humble and always willing to talk to everyone, to answer all their questions, specially students, begginers. that's very encouraging for us, admirable.
Have you ever tried a micing technique where one mic hangs upside down about an 1" above a 2nd mic. Once again uoi have shared a beautiful performace. I'm taking notes of your playing and choices to music. I'm amazed on the diversity of your seletion. Now I know about Julio Caesar Oliva.
Wow! beautiful! I've never heard this piece before but it is very nice, your tone is amazing also, would you mind if I asked which guitar are you playing?
I am speechless Mr. Peo. This is for sure one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in my life. I never heard it before but it's a GREAT TUNE! Once more I clap my hands at you! As always, CONGRATS!!!
Amazing as usual, you´re such an inspiration to me, i want to thank you for share all this videos. This one in particular is so beauty and so sensitive. Congratulations
