What happens is the smoke causes an irritation in your lungs which is essentially a chronic injury. In the case of a chronic injury the cells are under more pressure to replace themselves. each time they have to replace themselves they risk mutation...

Try drawing from a cigarette but not into your lungs, just keep it it your mouth and then hold tissue up to your mouth and blow it out through the tissue. You get a brown stain on the tisssue.
Then do the same thing except inhale it into your lungs and then out through the tissue. This time it won't leave a stain because the tar is left as residue in your lungs.
That is what builds up over time and gives you cancer.

In countries with more smokers, like in Japan (64% of men smoke) there is less lung cancer and people live longer. The same can be said of many countries around the world.
I know it's hard to believe, but not when you do some deep down research.
He is also right about black lungs. That's a myth and only found in cole miners.

What happens is the smoke causes an irritation in your lungs which is essentially a chronic injury. In the case of a chronic injury the cells are under more pressure to replace themselves. each time they have to replace themselves they risk mutation...

Black lung occurs in coal miners. You get more carbon deposits in your lungs if you smoke, but people in Mexico City or Los Angeles probably have the same amount of carbon in their lungs as a smoker. It's the carcinogens in the smoke (which have no color) that cause cancer).

stupidest shit I've ever listened to and watched. When the smoke goes into your lungs the cells in your lungs draw in the smoke before it goes out again. It's not like nothings happening when its going in and out. Eventually after lots of smoking upon smoking upon smoking those cells in your lungs start to get dark from all the smoke exposed to them. After tens of years of smoking you die from lung cancer and you see the lungs are fucked

Try drawing from a cigarette but not into your lungs, just keep it it your mouth and then hold tissue up to your mouth and blow it out through the tissue. You get a brown stain on the tisssue.
Then do the same thing except inhale it into your lungs and then out through the tissue. This time it won't leave a stain because the tar is left as residue in your lungs.
That is what builds up over time and gives you cancer.
