  • WTF I just love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • chamberlin!!!!!!! woooooo

  • I just can't help laughing everytime I listen to this song!!! Jimmy Chamberlin is really AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! He's such an incredible, elegant and perfect drummer... Congratulations Jimmy, you're definitely one of the best (if not THE best) rock drummers of all time!!!!!

  • CHAMBERLAIN.

  • LOVELY EXCELLENT HILLARIOUS

  • Chamberlain GOOOOD !!!!!!

  • I did some math and my calculations have shown that Jimmy Chamberlin burns beyond 9000 calories every second.

  • THEY ROCK!!

  • insane drumming.

  • the irony of this song is that it could have prevented the band from breaking up. The idea that they made this song for Adore........and then sank it to the bottom of the ocean boggles my mind.

This is what people were wanting to hear from the pumpkins in 1998. Everlasting Gaze was technically from Adore era as well. That could have been one epic album. Adore is my favorite SP album, but it was definitely not for the masses.

  • @ValisX Dude, you don't know what you are talking about. TEG was not Adore era.

  • @ValisX The problem with the Pumpkins is that unlike modern bands which are prevented from being "too big" by their producers and PR teams to prevent them from peaking early, the Pumpkins really did peak around 95-96, and the odds of them continuing to be a mainstream success after that weren't great. Look at other bands from the era that are still together, flying under the radar. Collective Soul, Third Eye Blind, Tonic, etc. And they kept making 'mainstream appeal' music!

  • Billy was going to release Machina / The Machines Of God and Machina / The Friends And Enemies Of Modern Music as a double disc album but Virgin Records decided to release Machina / The Machines Of God as a single disc album. When I saw The Smashing Pumpkins on The 20th Anniversary Tour Billy said "Cash Car Star, Staturnine, and Home were going to be singles for the double disk album but virgin didn't they were good enough so they never released them." And then he preformed Cash Car Star.

  • JC's an animal !!

  • An American band for me!

  • The Last Television Appearance Of Smashing Pumpkins Untill 2007

  • @ryneldo

Yup. This was on Leno. I camped out on the sidewalk from midnight until about 8 in the morning the next day to try to get tickets for this show. I was 30th in line and the cut-off ended up being at about 25. :(

  • I Googled "drummer" About 20,600,000 results (0.16 seconds). Somehow, I ended up here...

  • that's a proof that google works... at least on searching real drummers...

  • @simmad0wnn0w

One of (if not the) greatest drummers in the world.

  • @simmad0wnn0w welcome....

  • omfg billy´s clothes :D

  • wow, Chamberlain just blows through that song, I wonder if that's what Billy was laughing about..

  • @urface102

I think so, Jimmy is just murdering the drums and Billy is amused about it.
