My original character is a laid back asshole of a 20-year old who's only really great ability is converting life force into constructs, similar to the Green Lantern. He can also use the life force of other beings, but he must overpower their will to do so. Another being is harder to take from then his own. Finally, with every ability he uses, he chops away at his life or the life of others. If he does not give time to let the life replenish, death is most likely to come.

@trence5 I think people like to complain that Drift does too much, has too many skills and powers, or whatever. I haven't read the comics myself but I think that's part of it. They may think his character seems like it has too much history and detail to him compared to the other characters. /shrug.

I only really know Drift from this toy, and I dig it, so I'm pleased.

great review Vange1us, i manage to get one for $8 and i must say he is pretty cool. Is kinda sad that he didn't get some kind of ankle joints or a waist articulation but he is a pretty cool figure. btw, i got a problem with my version of the figure and perhaps you can answer it. My Drift version's chest part when im trying to lock it in place in robot mode it doest lock at all but stays like is presented, by any chance is your copy as well having that problem or perhaps is only my copy?

see I think the feet are a strong point. the simple weighy of the lower leg gives some serious balance that some ball jointed feet just can't hack especially once they have some wear. (my floppy footed sideswipe will attest to this fact)

I was SUPER HAPPY that I grabbed Drift. I don't collect many TFs unless I really like the character or that the toy looks pretty cool/has a good review, but Drift...yeah, I bought him for his awesome swords. :D I can't for Blur to be released where I live (Quebec, go fig). New headsculpt and comes with GUNS OF AWESOME.
