  • The first and second generation Monster Trucks looked far better than the ones we see today. The trucks we have in Australia today are pathetic

  • tropical thunder is the best coz the guy who still or use to is my uncle jozo grizic

  • is the bus called bigfoot?

  • The truck was called the Bigfoot Bus, but due to copyright issues the name was soon changed to Desert Storm.

  • @GotAMT got any videos of hank the tank?

  • @Jonnie868 I've got some video of Hank the Tank and will work on getting some new video's up soon.

  • @GotAMT Awesome i remember seeing Hank the tank in Adelaide 10 or so years ago. If you can put the videos up of Hank i'll be extremely grateful.

  • Tauruas is now at cardrona adventure park which is in new zealand were you can drive the truck on a offroad course and you get to jump it at the end. Terror trip is also at the same place but not sure if you can drive that one.

  • I've watched this video a million times already and i only now say: Great job Mark, well done. Awesome as ever.

  • Thanks!

  • the sign says amt

  • AMT is correct!

  • OMG! Those are some seriously Huge Monster Trucks! They must make them bigger down under! What a great description you have of this video!

  • In the beginning, you have some kind of sign... What does it say? Anyone know?

  • WOW this is amazing. Great video.

  • do you know what happen to aussie battler?

  • Aussie Battler was scrapped, and parts of it were used to build another truck called Flying Falcon.

  • the flying falcon is ugly sorry the aussie battler was so nice

  • the flying falcon was built in the late 80s to90s by ed mulligan and was owned by ed mulligan and then sold to Vick and Steve Buttler in the 90s.

Also taurus was rolled in sydney by Steve Buttler at Parramatta city raceway

  • Tin Obrien Worked for ed mulligan, ed got tim to build it.

  • That old school bus is based out of Lancelin (spelling?) near Perth. We were booked in to take a ride on it in mid 2005 but 10 minutes before we got there the big truck broke down. Talk about bad luck!

    Nice video by the way.

  • かっこいいね!

    It's so cool!Good job!

    ・・・多分あってると思うけど(^^;

  • yes at 2:31 the driver of taurus was hurt

hes foot was caught between the accelerator and break pedal and hes leg was broken

    but nothing to serious

  • Cool... Thanks for the info!

  • Great!!

  • whoa that was drving close to the camera

  • what kind of car is the red and white car?

  • It's an Australian Ford Falcon XF Utility. The name of the truck is Flying Falcon.

  • thank you what is the yellow car?

  • I think the yellow one is Wild Thing

  • That's correct.

  • the flying Falcon was built in australia in the 90's by tim obrien, and tim was also the driver

  • 4 wheele steer

  • wow the suspension on those old trucks is sooo hard

  • The very last part where the weird looking truck is on the back wheels, right at the end, looks like Natex Canberra where they hold Summernats.

  • Pretty good guess, but it's actually the Brisbane Exhibition Grounds back in January 2002.

  • Aaaah right. geez i only missed by about 1200km. LOL!

  • Very cool. Good track too. Malkie - Aussie in Paris.

  • awsome vid

  • good soundtrack

  • cool school bus and nice song. Prodigy foreva

  • I second that.

  • Aussie's do it better :) like the music but personally I would of used Narayan from the same album.

  • Awesome video, very well done! It's great to see how the monster trucks run down in Australia. I've got two questions about the video, though...

The Taurus flip at 2:30, was that the roll that was televised on RealTV, where the engine caught fire?

Also, was anyone injured in that accident with the Terror Trip truck at 2:40, where the tire went into the grandstands?

  • Although I haven't seen RealTV, Taurus did indeed rollover at Parramatta, where it subsequently caught fire. Driver, Steve Butler, was pulled from the truck uninjured.

Nobody was reported as injured from the Terror Trip crash.

  • tim obrien used to drive taurus and rolled it once in melborne, is that right or was it in sydney

  • Definately a great vid and pretty cool music. Deserves a 5.

  • Sampson ftw.

  • if that bus is already so cool, imangene how the scool is!!!

  • very well put together love the music too

  • excellent they sure make short work out of crushing cars LOL
