Yes a lot of people still play this game. It is odd at first on the controls, but you get used to them very quickly. It is definitely worth the money, especially since the price is now 20 bucks.

I would recommend it over most fps games simply because you work as a team, and eventually you can qualify for a leadership position.

Reasons why MAG players suck:

1) The game itself endorces teamwork, nobody seems to care about the objectives or the teamwork

2) In case you are chosen as the squad leader, some douchebag will ALWAYS try to votekick you out because he wants to claim the leader role for himself, which is why earning leadership points is hard

3) Queue system=fucking failure! Takes forever to join a match, and in case you have activated your happy hour bonus, it will automatically run in the lobby and drain out

@AReallyScaryGhost actually it does. the servers have to simultaneously handle the destructive environments, all the textures and all the player connections. in a game like mag where the graphics are more simple and the textures less complex, not to mention their not being a lot of destructability, it frees up space for more players. if ther tried to run 64 players on bf3 console servers now the whole game could crash.

@AReallyScaryGhost Its because the limitations of xbox, not ps3. The ps3 could handle more, but because game developers like to import things from xbox to ps3 because it's way cheaper, the ps3 players have to suffer from the xbox's limitation.

Whilst its not my favourite multiplayer FPS, it gives experiences that no other game can. Thats why i still have my copy, sometimes I just get an urge to play MAG. Its a cool game and people shouldnt forget that "7" is a "good" game

The only thing that has messed up this game in my opinion is the free demo. you can only get up 2 level 8 and its to easy to kill people playing the demo cause i have better weapons and gadgets then they do which give me full advantage. just buy it people you wont regret it. i think its only like 20 bucks now and you can find it at used game stores for around 10.

The review sucks. Their are a tone of normandy like moments. You entire team will parachute in to attack the enemy team guarding the objective. When you get to a higher vantage point and see all the waves of attackers coming at you its unlike any game ive played. You will die alot if you suck. learn to stick with your squad and stay near cover and you will stay alive. try to rambo it and kiss your ass good bye. only people that hate this game are used to playing call of duty.

@FunnyGuy8p I'd have to disagree with that, Raven seems to have their shit together in most of the matches I play; Valor is a solid team, but wins out of fluke rather than coordination; SVER seems to have a lot of Coordination, but not the fire-power to back it up. Overall this is the luck I've had in mean terms, but of course there are exceptions.

I love how IGN mentioned you don't feel like there are lots of players on the game, yet you did. On top of it, BF3, it's far worse. Half of the time you're running around all alone. Yet, oh, since it looks pretty i guess its ok.

MAG is one of the most underrated games out there.
