is the PSU still running? that cheap a PSU doesnt last long usually, so you end up paying twice, or the same amount you would have paid for a good quality one lol.
used ddr2 pc5400 for this build cuz it was free. but right now ddr3 is the new thing but very expensive and the boards that support it is also very expensive. right now ddr2 is still very capable and pretty fast. but if you have the money you can go with ddr3
Unlike Some people here I actually like your comp i have a similar one. P5N-D, EVGA 8800GTS (G92) 512MB,1 250 10000RPM Seagate Barracuda,NZXT Apollo, INTEL Core2Duo E6750 around 3.6GHz, ULTRA 600W PSU, Sound Blaster XF-i Fatal1ty extreme gamer pro. 7.1 surround sound

nice rig, I had to do a lot of cable extensions on mine. with that, and some time all cables can be hidden. I would reverse the hard drives, for a super clean look, also.

i build a computer with the antec 900 my wire job was a lot better then that and i didnt have to drill holes at all
redarmy300 3 years ago
well i guess it all depends on how big your power supply is.
djbrandenburg 3 years ago 2
did you put the fan on the north bridge on it or not bother..?
feverofhell2 3 years ago
does the ATI 4870 HD x2 fit in here?
(the antec 900)
on a asus p5e3 MOBO.
and later on 2 of them? or are they too big so i have to go with the antec 1200?
leeuw16 3 years ago
The antec 900 is a really big case and the 4870X2 is about the size of a 280 and since that fits u should have no problem

Why didnt you go with a modular power supply like from Corsair or Antec? Wouldve helped alot with cable management.
BXbomber718 3 years ago
yea it would have, but i got that power supply dirt cheap for $30 so yea id rather do that.

You should MOd your Antec case and turn your bottom tray into removable HDD case.....
I actually use your Antec mobotray cutout as a reference guide....
But Nice PC BTW....I would have gotten 2 GTS in Sli over the GT
And you could have spent a bit more to get a X6800....FIRE SALE AT Compusa....X6800 going for 300
