@capatga - Oh, thank you so very much. As i've said i'm quite touched at the meaning this has had for others. We all have had wonderful Moms in our life- we were lucky to have ours for so long. When people say that- I just say "yes, but that was just longer to love her!"- She is a vibrant force still and always will be. Thank you for your kind words.

@mimibella12 thank you so much- you know I am very touched by everyone's response- and so pleased these photos and memories of my mother have touched other's memories of their mother. Several years back- my mother was a very young '84'- i took her to on a trip to Paris. I have to say that at LEAST on three occasions women would come up and comment to me saying "I wish I had done that with MY mother' - . Rose and Johnny- and wonderful pair of humble, lovely souls- whose smiles- tell 'all'. :)

Lenore, your mom was a lovely person as I can see from the picture, her eyes looked always smiling and that tells of a good natured person. There was a tug in my heart when looking at the video, I was thinking of my own mother who passed away several years ago. Johnny's voice is just perfect for this. Saw him at San Francisco Symphony June 27th and he was amazed at how crowded the hall was on a Monday evening - he was grateful and said that we made his year.

@jrmbabe4ever - Thank you very much for your kind words- as I've said before- she truly was as she seemed- if you read the notes- you'll get a sense of her- but the photos speak for themselves. How fortunate my sisters and entire extended family have been to have not only had her in our lives-but for so long- a treasure. How wonderful that you were at the concert the other nite- so wanted to be at that particular one.

Wow ,what can i say im in tears ,Johnnys music always moves me but this is such a beautiful tribute to your mom .It makes me think of my mom who passed on some time ago .She was a big fan of Johnnys and she left me a wonderful gift by introducing me to his music ,im going to see him again in October here in the UK and cant wait :0)

My mother was introduced to Johnny by me- but she introduced me to a lot of the music that Johnny has sung and seems to adore- over the years- they made a perfect pairing here. What a wonderful 'reading' on this early morning. Your mother was beautiful! And you are all so lucky to have her that long. (my mother passed at 67). I'm sure that there is music wherever she is, I know that I rely on that, because I cannot imagine beeing without Johnnys voice! Thank you for sharing this song, and for 'sharing' your mother.
