I remember before KH2 came out i looked in a magazine and saw Auron would be in it and i nearly had a heart attack. i cried so hard when he died. he's younger in kh2 though, so i wonder if he met Sora before final fantasy x? anything's possible with square soft/enix i guess.

I beat KH 1 and 2. But I hate them now. Its too hard to take the games seriously when you fight with a dumb giant dildo key and your sidekicks are an annoying duck and a retarded dog. Auron being in KH just ruins his cool-ness. but whatever. FF is so much better than KH. What was SE thinking... I mean, KH would have been cool if there wasnt the Disney Characters. There's something most people don't understand about Auron and his appearance in Kingdom Hearts 2 but I understand it. So here goes. Auron was surprisingly dead before he was summoned back to life again. Also in the actual game itself he said that he suffered instead of Yuna or possibly Tidus. It is unknown how he died exactly but it is possible that Hades killed him while he was in the Underworld before somehow. Also it is unknown where he went after leaving the Olympus Coliseum as well.
It's funny, when the script was originally written it was "badass," but Disney insisted on there being absolutely no cursing in the game, so they changed it to "guy."

I think you overrated Final Fantasy characters a little way too much. Just because they look so cool doesn't mean they're godlike. I doubt Cloud or Leon can take on Hercules or Genie. Disney characters are even more hax than Final Fantasy ones. Not

Sephiroth slaughtered a sky scraper of soldiers with ease and summoned a moon-size meteor to destroy the Earth. In fact, a move of his in FF7 is to summon a meteor to destory the solar system - which he uses a lot!
And Cloud beat Sephiroth, as well as survived many battles in which he was always on the front lines.
I bet the whole meteor thing is just hyperbole. Because supposedly if he destroyed all those planets, then earth wouldn't survive and Cloud and the others will die anyway. Not to mention, why would Sephiroth need the black materia if he can just destroy a planet anyway? Also, Hercules and Genie are in this. Cloud lost to hercules in Chain of memories. Sora beat hercules to the point of him saying "Wow nice Sora, and I didn't even hold back!" Sora>hercules>Cloud.

You may want to prove that the FF characters in KH are weaker than their original counterparts. I just did. Cloud fights in FF, like he briefly did in KH1 and 2 where he briefly flys after your party very fast and swings his sword everywhere. If the whole battle, or even the 2nd half of the battle was like that, it wud be very hard to beat him. Fighting Cloud or Squall, they mostly stand around and walk very slowly and slash every here and there. No running or combos whatsoever. Leon's Lionheart ability (which we can see he owns) would rip Sora apart.... (Next Comment)

Um.....if your opinion of KH Cloud's strength is based off on the gameplay, sorry once again. For example do you play Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus or Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core? But when I faced them in the game with Zach or Vincent, they move so slow, their attacks so small. Sephiroth's gameplay in Crisis Core is worse than in KH! Now you say their weaker?

I mean, I think the reaction commands Sora cud use throughout the game (ones at the end in particular) were awesome, but they annoyed too. When and where did Sora learn to do this!? One moment he can only jump a few metres and slashs once a second. Now he's running along buildings and slashing 6 times a second? Where did that come from!? If this is Sora at full power, then he wud be on equal terms with Cloud, etc. But they still dont get that power up against him! Which is downgrading them!
Lets just put it this way. Sora w/ reaction commands vs Cloud (cutscenes). Lets forget Sora for now and talk about other characters like Master Xehanort. He displayed feats in the trailer that I daresay beats anything in Advent Children.(I hope this is not off topic). But the point is, if he displayed such feats, I don't think the F. F characters are downgraded since they're around Sora's level.

Cloud at least has Omnislash. But he doesn't use it the first time you fought him. Its weird but when you fought against him, his Omnislash is only 9 slashes I counted. When you fought alongside with him against the heartless in hollow bastion, he slash 25 times i counted. lol. I agree with you on Squall but at least Auron have Bushido :D lol.

Yes i thought I had covered it, and you didnt reply with a valid reason against it. Instead you ignored it and are now pretending that you did answer it! Have you ever even played KH???? go into it, fight Cloud - He doesnt move!! He sidesteps barely, jumps very occasionally and pretty slowly and only attacks once in a blue moon. When he clashes with the keyblade, the giant heavy buster sword goes further back than the pipe long/thick blade! Wth?? Squall is the EXACT same story!
If thats the case. Go fight Genesis, Weiss and Sephiroth again in Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core. Weiss moves so slowly that I can actually keep my distance away from him in the entire time and spam shots from Cerberus. When I fought Sephiroth in both Crisis Core and KH, KH Sephiroth is so much more faster and mobile(I am not saying there's a strength difference). Everytime I fight Cloud, if he's not flying around he spams sonic blade(Thats how they call it in the game manuel).
You're telling me you dont think its BS that a 14 year-old who has no experience with a weapon bar a wooden sword, can defeat a pre-SOLDIER fused with Mako and has much more experience in combat, a man who swings around a 10 metre sword like its nothing, can use the highest levels of magic and who's whole existence is to fight, and a SEED member who has been training with real weapons since he was like 12???
He meet lots different worlds. Gain lots of exp. Donald taught him magic. Sora once said in KH1 "I think my magic is better than donald now". Donald replied "Not in a million years". Also Marluxia tell Sora and his friends when they first enter Castle Oblivion "The moment you set foot in this castle, you forgot every skill, magic and ability you once knew." Why would he say that if Sora don't know any skills in the first place?
Around the end of KH, Sora was getting to FF level. At that point, I wudnt mind much if he cud beat Squall or Cloud. A little confused, but I cud bear it. Its the fact that they are some of the FIRST enemies he beats that annoy me. He hadnt travelled to lots of different worlds before he beat them. He cudnt use reaction commands either. He's so strong by the end of KH2, that the only way they can win at all if is Cloud, Yuffie, Tifa and Squall all take him at once! And he can still win!?
The battle of Squall and Cloud is optional really you don't have to win to progress through the story. Heck, I lost to them when I first fought them but I still progress through the story. Also in the manga, Cloud finished Sora, Donald, Goofy all at once with ease with just one move. When he was about to deliver the finishing blow, Cerberus stomped on him. I'll agree to you that the real Cloud is way stronger than Sora in the beginning. But Sora at the end of KH2 is probably Cloud's equivalent.

You nearly had me convinced however after seeing Cloud vs Sephiroth in all those cutscenes where they fly around the screen at super sonic speed, I don't know how they can be considered "weaker". As I said you nearly HAD ME convinced. Perhaps Sora loses to Cloud in the beginning is the TRUE CANON story since its optional.
Actually that wud make sense since it happens in the manga... Maybe its more for letting the player feel awesome that they can take on all these high and mighty FF characters and can win. Fighting alongside them is more fun imo though =)

Sora's reaction command against Larxene isnt a move he will use against Cloud. Name me another time he uses that besides against Larxene. I dont think he can move that fast against Cloud - since Cloud isnt Larxene! And for the record, I dont like Coud more. I do like Sora more, but Cloud wud kick his ass. I think you overrated Final Fantasy characters a little way too much. Just because they look so cool doesn't mean they're godlike. I doubt Cloud or Leon can take on Hercules or Genie. Disney characters are even more hax than Final Fantasy ones. Not

Squall (Leon) saved the universe from Time Compression and killed an all-powerful sorceress
Sephiroth slaughtered a sky scraper of soldiers with ease and summoned a moon-size meteor to destroy the Earth. In fact, a move of his in FF7 is to summon a meteor to destory the solar system - which he uses a lot!
And Cloud beat Sephiroth, as well as survived many battles in which he was always on the front lines.

I bet the whole meteor thing is just hyperbole. Because supposedly if he destroyed all those planets, then earth wouldn't survive and Cloud and the others will die anyway. Not to mention, why would Sephiroth need the black materia if he can just destroy a planet anyway? Also, Hercules and Genie are in this. Cloud lost to hercules in Chain of memories. Sora beat hercules to the point of him saying "Wow nice Sora, and I didn't even hold back!" Sora>hercules>Cloud.

My original point is that in KH, FF characters are weakened so Sora stands a chance against them. To say that 'Hercules beat Cloud, so Hercules is better anyway' doesnt make sense bcus that happened in KH
When u fight Cloud (in KH or KH2) and he gets wings and flys after u swinging his around - Thats a bit more like it. If he fought like that the whole time, Hercules would lose!

You may want to prove that the FF characters in KH are weaker than their original counterparts. Plus, Hercules and Genie are gods or demigods they can't be killed by simple mortal means, so why wouldn't it make sense that they can beat Cloud? And don't say well "Cloud killed Sephiroth who was godlike" yeah right Sephiroth is not god he's an alien like Jenova. I hope your not like " the fighting effects of Advent children were so cool and dynamic Cloud must be a Super Saiyan because of his moves"

I just did. Cloud fights in FF, like he briefly did in KH1 and 2 where he briefly flys after your party very fast and swings his sword everywhere. If the whole battle, or even the 2nd half of the battle was like that, it wud be very hard to beat him. Fighting Cloud or Squall, they mostly stand around and walk very slowly and slash every here and there. No running or combos whatsoever. Leon's Lionheart ability (which we can see he owns) would rip Sora apart.... (Next Comment)

Why wud Cloud be a super saiyan? Thats just stupid. Of course he's not a super saiyan. I didnt say he or Sephiroth were Gods either - im simply saying they would OWN Sora, and probably Hercules. If Hercules is immortal, how can Sora beat him?? Your making less and less sense. I understand Genie cant be killed bcus he's immortal, but Cloud cud at least beat him up a bit first. His immortality is the only reason he wud win! It doesn't mean he's stronger!

What does Cloud have anything that can beat up Hercules, Genie, Sora? He's just some guy with a giant sword that can jump really high and slash buildings, and dodge bullets. Big deal thats just like Link. Sora can dodge repel lasers and move as fast as lightning as exemplify with his reaction commands against Larxene in KH2 Final Mix. Just because you like Cloud more doesn't mean he's stronger.

Well what u said is a start - he can dodge bullets which means he can dodge - yup, just about anything! He can jump really high so that can involve powerful attacks and good dodging. He can slash up buildings - c'mon. You're telling me that involves no stregnth whatsoever. If he can slash a building - he can slash a person! Link can't dodge bullets or slash up buildings or jump really high - please explain how you came to that conclusion - im curious.

Sorry I may have exaggerated the Link a little bit. Too much Super Smash Bros Brawl for me lol forget about it. However u still haven't proved to me that the FF characters are weaker than their original counterparts yet. Did you watch both Cloud vs Sephiroth fights in KH Final Mix and KH2? Did you saw how they move around so fast and dynamic and cinematic yet it was stated Cloud lost against Hercules?

but Cloud doesnt fight like that against Sora or Hercules. If he fought you, like he did in those sequences, he wud be much harder. When you actually fight him with Sora, he walks very slowly and only slashes occasionally. So like that - i can see why he wud lose to Hercules in KH. But if he fought seriously like he did against Sephiroth, then he wud win! It doesnt matter if he beats him in KH - my point is that his original counterpart wud beat him.

Um.....if your opinion of KH Cloud's strength is based off on the gameplay, sorry once again. For example do you play Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus or Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core? Sephiroth, Genesis, Weiss all had that cool cinematic fight scenes that make them look they move at supersonic speed and all. But when I faced them in the game with Zach or Vincent, they move so slow, their attacks so small. Sephiroth's gameplay in Crisis Core is worse than in KH! Now you say their weaker?

I guess u actually have a point about them fighting slower in gameplay in their original games. I'll admit Genesis was incredibly disappointing - he went down too fast to be called a final fight. Weiss was also slightly disappointing - but I think he can still beat Sora. Vincent wud destroy Sora at least. But Sephiroth was pretty hard in Crisis Core! CC Sephiroth cud kill Sora without much trouble at all! Sephiroth was easier in KH - u just need some elixers and he's a goner!

Just look at the general speed and strength of the final fantasy characters in their orignial games and how it changes in KH. Most of them move slowly and attack only occasionally. Its really not that hard to spot. I feel like you're just ignoring my arguments now and repeatedly saying 'Well - im waiting!' ¬¬

Genesis, Weiss and Sephiroth all move much faster than Cloud or Squall do! MUCH faster! No when it was Cloud vs Sephiroth in KH2, it was a bit more realistic. But tell me - did they fight like that against Sora?? Nothing close! Yeah Weiss and Genesis were disappointing, but Zack and Vincent are stronger than Sora too. And you've just taken one point ive made that isnt directly on topic and are criticizing that, rather than taking my strongest ones and trying to counter them!

Thats like saying Sora moves as fast as lightning via Larxene, slash buildings advent children style in the reaction commands and cutscenes but doesn't fight like that against Cloud and Squall. From my eyes, your trying to tell me Cloud and Squall sux in KH because when you fought them they don't move or move very slowly. I am trying to tell you you can't say that because Genesis Weiss Sephiroth also moves slow when I fought them and does that mean they sux as much as Cloud and Squall in KH? NO!

then something is rong with your games or you have the difficulty RIGHT down if Sephiroth, Genesis and Weiss stood there and let you bitch slap them to death without even attempting to fight back. First try in KH1 and 2, I beat Cloud, Squall and Sephiroth first time each and was wondering if my games are messed up cuz 'Why are they just standing there?' was the question I asked.

Same thing I could've say to you about your KH games. I fight ag Sephiroth and Cloud in hard version and they're not standing still. Same thing as with Weiss he's in hard version as well. Well Genesis and Sephiroth are medium I gotta admit.

I mean, I think the reaction commands Sora cud use throughout the game (ones at the end in particular) were awesome, but they annoyed too. When and where did Sora learn to do this!? One moment he can only jump a few metres and slashs once a second. Now he's running along buildings and slashing 6 times a second? Where did that come from!? If this is Sora at full power, then he wud be on equal terms with Cloud, etc. But they still dont get that power up against him! Which is downgrading them!

Lets just put it this way. Sora w/ reaction commands vs Cloud (cutscenes). Lets forget Sora for now and talk about other characters like Master Xehanort. He displayed feats in the trailer that I daresay beats anything in Advent Children.(I hope this is not off topic). But the point is, if he displayed such feats, I don't think the F. F characters are downgraded since they're around Sora's level.

Im not denying that Sora has skills. Im saying that Cloud's, etc are stronger. But Sora beat Squall just after he got the keyblade and Cloud when he only knew Fire and Dodge Roll. Those were his only skills. Yet they top everything Cloud could pull off bcus he is very limited. Where was Clouds other abilities? Beam Blade? Climhazard? That meteor move? Omnislash? All didnt exist in KH. What about Squall's Rough Divide? Fated Circle? Blasting Zone? Lionheart?

Cloud at least has Omnislash. But he doesn't use it the first time you fought him. Its weird but when you fought against him, his Omnislash is only 9 slashes I counted. When you fought alongside with him against the heartless in hollow bastion, he slash 25 times i counted. lol. I agree with you on Squall but at least Auron have Bushido :D lol.

Agree then? Its a little ridiculous you can beat Cloud, etc at the beginning, but at the end of KH2, he's about that level. The strength/speed of some of them have been downgraded at least a bit, and they are lacking a good portion of their abilities.

Yes i thought I had covered it, and you didnt reply with a valid reason against it. Instead you ignored it and are now pretending that you did answer it! Have you ever even played KH???? go into it, fight Cloud - He doesnt move!! He sidesteps barely, jumps very occasionally and pretty slowly and only attacks once in a blue moon. When he clashes with the keyblade, the giant heavy buster sword goes further back than the pipe long/thick blade! Wth?? Squall is the EXACT same story!

If thats the case. Go fight Genesis, Weiss and Sephiroth again in Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core. Weiss moves so slowly that I can actually keep my distance away from him in the entire time and spam shots from Cerberus. When I fought Sephiroth in both Crisis Core and KH, KH Sephiroth is so much more faster and mobile(I am not saying there's a strength difference). Everytime I fight Cloud, if he's not flying around he spams sonic blade(Thats how they call it in the game manuel).

You're telling me you dont think its BS that a 14 year-old who has no experience with a weapon bar a wooden sword, can defeat a pre-SOLDIER fused with Mako and has much more experience in combat, a man who swings around a 10 metre sword like its nothing, can use the highest levels of magic and who's whole existence is to fight, and a SEED member who has been training with real weapons since he was like 12???

He meet lots different worlds. Gain lots of exp. Donald taught him magic. Sora once said in KH1 "I think my magic is better than donald now". Donald replied "Not in a million years". Also Marluxia tell Sora and his friends when they first enter Castle Oblivion "The moment you set foot in this castle, you forgot every skill, magic and ability you once knew." Why would he say that if Sora don't know any skills in the first place?

Around the end of KH, Sora was getting to FF level. At that point, I wudnt mind much if he cud beat Squall or Cloud. A little confused, but I cud bear it. Its the fact that they are some of the FIRST enemies he beats that annoy me. He hadnt travelled to lots of different worlds before he beat them. He cudnt use reaction commands either. He's so strong by the end of KH2, that the only way they can win at all if is Cloud, Yuffie, Tifa and Squall all take him at once! And he can still win!?

The battle of Squall and Cloud is optional really you don't have to win to progress through the story. Heck, I lost to them when I first fought them but I still progress through the story. Also in the manga, Cloud finished Sora, Donald, Goofy all at once with ease with just one move. When he was about to deliver the finishing blow, Cerberus stomped on him. I'll agree to you that the real Cloud is way stronger than Sora in the beginning. But Sora at the end of KH2 is probably Cloud's equivalent.

Well yeah, I know they're optional, but they shudve been harder. I never read the manga - sounds interesting! I might read it. Sora at the end of KH2 wud be about equal to the real Cloud - I'll agree with u on that. When did Cloud use Omnislash? I cant remember him using that... oh is that when he flys around after you? You nearly had me convinced however after seeing Cloud vs Sephiroth in all those cutscenes where they fly around the screen at super sonic speed, I don't know how they can be considered "weaker". As I said you nearly HAD ME convinced. Perhaps Sora loses to Cloud in the beginning is the TRUE CANON story since its optional.

Actually that wud make sense since it happens in the manga... Maybe its more for letting the player feel awesome that they can take on all these high and mighty FF characters and can win. Fighting alongside them is more fun imo though =)

I agree fighting along side with them is the best. Fighting alongside with Advent Children Cloud is like the best moment ever in KH imo. Hm... so shall we put an end to the argument? I'll agree with you that Cloud and the others may not be fighting at full strength when you fought them. But during the cutscenes, they fight at full power. Sora is Cloud's equal in the very end. Sora's reaction command against Larxene isnt a move he will use against Cloud. Name me another time he uses that besides against Larxene. I dont think he can move that fast against Cloud - since Cloud isnt Larxene! And for the record, I dont like Coud more. I do like Sora more, but Cloud wud kick his ass. Just like I prefer Spiderman to Superman, but Superman wud kick the crap out of Spiderman anyday! Im not one of those FF7 fanboys that ignore the other FF's to praise it in anyway possible.
