These were my "kids". I'm Bobbi (publisher/manager). I cannot believe everyone but Danny are gone. I also did not know it had become a classic. Well deserved, however. They were all wonderful & talented young men.
One of the coolest 60s Garage Rock songs of all time! And they were from Charlotte where I am now. If I remember correctly, this song was recorded at Studio East which is still there, I drive past it now and then. I've been listening to this song for decades, great to finally see what the Paragons looked like in concert!
My father is Dan Huntley the rhythm guitar and arranger, he's the only living member of the band left, R.I.P to the other members, such an amazing band.
Cool guys, super energy, absolutely awesome tune. At 1:03 or so the drummer and bass player are in the frame at the same time, and it's easy to see they are family. They seem like the kind of cool guy I used to wish I was myself when I was that age. I found this clip so charming that I looked around a bit to see if band members are still playing and then I find out that at least a couple of members are, but that the drummer and his little brother are both gone...I'm really sorry.

Wasn't there a guy in the Paragons that ended up in the Spongetones?
Fantastic video by the way, whoever posted it first (by the way, the 60sgaragebandvault link is no good anymore).

@smokeemonkee Pat Walters was in the Paragons and then the SpongeTones... You are correct.
