Roy Williams has the 3rd Highest Winning % of any coach, and during his career there is greater competition and widespread talent.
Taking the perenial worst team in the Big to the Top 10 last year was a greater accomplishment than Roy could ever hope to do. Without a boatload of talent, Williams looks average. That's not the case with Gillispie. And that's the mark of an elite coach. Coach K, Gillipsie, Ben Howland, etc.. .

McDonald's All-Americans doesn't mean jack shit. Guys like Neil Fingleton(7'6 stiff who couldn't dribble a basketball) etc... were all McD's AA. The whole thing is political. Duke's players are all pretty good players, but none of them have NBA all-star talent witht the exception of Gerald Henderson or Kyle Singler.

Gillispie is a clown first of all, and has himself been 'in coaching' himself for 26 years, at 12 places.
