  • that motors a goo ole screamer

  • This is something I will never understand. Pointless burn outs. Not cool. Doesn't prove anything. Except you have money to buy tires and fix it when you break something. Besides that, Hoop de do. Another red neck burn out on you tube. Like thousands haven't already done it. A four banger will do it. I wish someone would post something besides burnouts all the time. Something more original maybe. Like running against another car.

  • @Eddie1962150 Since when is it anyone's say what they do with their money asshole? If he wants to burnout then Godspeed to him. By the way, there is four other videos containing nothing but racing.

  • Cinquenta y una n,not ciquenta,gringos.

  • a waste of good rubber

  • no dude, i rock enough power i dont need to do a brake stand, and yes its rear wheel drive or nothing

  • call that a burnout competition??? check out The Ultimate Burnout Challenge.... $10000 to the winner....

  • stupid !

  • gasser? ya laughing gas you retard !

  • damn that car sounds badass thanx for sharing hope to see more of it

  • i would never treat my baby like that(54 chevy bel air)

  • @Insane82chevy haha, treat it like what? Having fun with it, run 'em hard or go home. Shit breaks, ya fix it.

  • @moparmaniac21 lol speaking of go hard or go home, i just totaled my mustang gt.

  • why does it need chains to hold it back?i can do that easy enough with my 51 buick without losing my driveshaft

  • @sausageslaps This burnout contest was held on a concrete pad.....there were a bunch of people standing around, they did not want the cars to get traction, and run over somebody.....it was for safety reasons.....it had nothing to do with keeping the driveshaft in.....the chains were wrapped around the axle.

  • @joesspeedshop oh i see, makes sense i guess, i wouldnt know since i have never done a burnout contest. nor would i want to, flying rubber from disintigrating tires can cause major damage

  • @joesspeedshop Must have been horrible drivers out there to require that >.>

  • @sausageslaps think about it man....first off it saves the brakes and is safer than using the brakes. Then as the OP already said, with the crowd its safer. And its just hardcore.

  • @moparmaniac21 what does saving the brakes have to do with it, any burnout contest vid i have watched they block the front wheels.

  • @sausageslaps brake stands.......where you hold the brakes and romp it, car overpowers the rear brakes and tires spin thus heating and wearing out the rear brakes. Of course if you've never driven a RWD car you wouldnt know.

  • WOOO!! get r done!!!

  • damnn thats an awesome car and vid until the drive shaft broke haha

  • yea the cars orange now and its a 51 not a 55 man my pops owns the car its in chicago now

  • HEYY MOOVEEE god damn son of a bitch!

  • I never understood these burnout things. But is is cool.

  • burnout smoke is addictive

  • bad ass car!

  • classic

  • was a 51 or 52 not 1950

  • needs a bit of work

  • two fat fucks in the way lol

  • that is my type of old school hot rod a 55 chevy rat rod gasser i like it

  • this video is full of stupidity

  • This guy's outta his mind!! Just like me, HUH HUH!

  • I am a fem mech, and i see alot of tire smoke BUT what is the brown-ish smoke comming out from under the car, like about where the end of the oil pan is maybe??? I,m not blind lol.

  • @kodiacwolf the smoke appears brown because how dark it is under the car cause of the shadow

  • what smoking here? tires or engine?

  • @SFINX01 both

  • Looks nothing like a 55 chevy

  • Didn't see anywhere that stated it was a 55 Chevy.....?

  • @kwdriver01

Who said it was a '55?

  • @kwdriver01 Learn Chevys before u talk, pls......

  • @kwdriver01 i think your high on rubber fumes

  • @kwdriver01 no way....

  • Tie just about anything down it's going to spin wheels, come on guys! This burnout makes as much sense as shit on a shingle or a three legged race horse, lol.

  • Yeah, but you gotta take into consideration the fact that there is limited pavement. You can't do a burnout in the dirt. Sure, can throw the shit everywhere, but you ain't burnin rubber, bubba!

  • he has a 283 i put the fucker in ..the old girl

  • just curious......did he paint it orange the next year, or is this a different car i'm thinking of?

  • Well, first of all, since this is America, you are entitled to say whatever you wish...but I am at least able to respond....the burnout contest was held on a concrete pad about 5ft. by 6ft. or so....chaining was necessary because if a car actually got traction, it would have ran over about 50 people who were standing around. I guess I would rather have this, than see people get killed.....then we have no burnout contest, plus if there is a lawsuit, then no car show. Rat Rod Trash? Your opinion.

  • @joesspeedshop Ignore the haters! That's a great car, and a sick burnout!

  • @EvilPaul24 No only people with shit breaks need to strap there car down

  • @EvilPaul24 go drive your honda and leave the real men alone

  • @EvilPaul24 shut the hell up, chaining it up keep your brakes from burning up and not everyone has a line lock. Also its safer incase something failed. This thing is 1000x more badass than anything you got.

  • AAWSOOOOMMMMEEEE i heard someone say he did it again hes busted driveshafts befor ? hehe awsome car what engine he got in there?

  • Actually, he had tried to do a burnout earlier, and he barely got the car revved up and the u-joint broke....he pulled the car off to the side and fixed it while other cars were doing burnouts...he got back in line and almost made it!

  • so i guess not a pertticularly powerfull engine?

  • To be honest, I really don't know what it had in it.......maybe somebody will see this and let us all know!

  • funny funny in the beginning but the car was great

  • "hey, move god damn son of a bitch!" haha that was funny

  • Well, I almost edited that out, but It ticked me off! I was trying to get it on the video!

  • Is this gasser a survivor of the sixties or seventies or just a recently saved car from a junk yard ?

  • I'm not really sure....it looked as if it was dragged out of a barn, but I only recorded the video....I don't even know who owned it. It seems like I saw the car the next year, and it was painted orange, but it might have been a different car. Wish I knew more about it.....sorry!

  • billetproof ? kirk made a career out of rat rod bs

  • what motor, tranny, and rearend does the chevy have?

  • I'm really not sure what it actually had in it as far as drivetrain.....I only recorded the video....sorry! Maybe somebody who has seen the video could help you out with that.

  • Cool.
