There are a number of reasons not to hang Obama out to dry about this.

First off, there might be a chance that he is decent enough not to investigate his own family, and so if his uncle told him a story about the wrong camp? It is not that important.

The documented fact that his uncle was among the soldiers to liberate Buchenwald rather show that it is a memory glitch with Obama, and that is not odd, as he holds a lot of speeches.

I think that the fact that he is human is reassuring.
