I just saw "It's such a beautiful day" (and you) at Sundance and I thought it was AMAZING (and so are you). Also, I didn't know of your existence until today, you're my new idol, thought I'd let you know lol <3 *fangirling*
I wonder what parts were improvised. Probably the conversations. Really funny and also a little ironic at the end. How they blame the others for their inability to have a relationship when its really their own fault because they wont open up all the way.
I urge, nay, implore you to enable the Google voice transcription for this. "and right now and to pat buchanan tried responded by very pretty constant france in you see..."
Bald truth, should be required viewing for Relationships 101. That's the worst venue for a first meeting, for all the reasons portrayed. My formula-- choose a place: 1) WHERE YOU HAVE TO WALK to see and do things, but also has places to sit and rest; 2) that will be interesting to BOTH of you (preferably gender neutral), TOGETHER at the SAME TIME; 3) that you've agreed on first, if possible. Fairs, sidewalk exhibits, street performers, boardwalks, museums, amusement parks; but NOT the mall.
Don Hertzfeldt! You are brilliant so I will eat your brains to absorb your knowledge and creativity. Awesome film -- can't wait for part three of that bob series too. :)
Ahead of its time.

I love how both characters are completely unlikable, but because of the writing the audience still really wants to relate to them
