@Jongeruz nope. yngwie's one of the few who can do it with feeling and emotion. it's why he's still selling albums after almost 30 years. yngwie's one of the greats; listening to his music moves me every time and further inspires me to better myself at guitar both from a technical standpoint as well as a compositional one. truly one of the few great artists still around today.

I've seen Yngwie live a few times over the years. If it ever seems like he's playing like crap, it's usually the fault of the house pa system. He and the band play loud, and sometimes the house systems in the clubs don't due him any justice.

I have had every one of Yngwies albums and saw him live the realease date of fire and ice and i gotta tell you that goran edman was the shit! now i still think fire and ice was one of his most approachable albums commercially and one of the best sounding. i have nothing but some agreement on yngwie not trying in that death dealear and damnation game sound just like every single track yngwie puts out at#1 and #2 on the album i swear you could play vengeance or never die and they sound the same.

TO ALL NEWBIE YNGWIE FANS, I've been a fan of Yngwie since the early 80's, seen him in concert alot too, this solo is the same ol' same ol'. Yngwie is awesome, but doesn't seem to even try anymore. It's sad. If you want to hear him at his best, get his first two albums, Marching Out and Rising Force, listen to Black Star, I am a Viking, or any Overture. Back in the day he had better singers too, like Graham Bonnet who sang for Rainbow, and Jeff Scott Soto. Singers since Odyssey have sucked.
