It's really a great bargain as compared to the higher end phones...

Yes, the screen is much smaller, but it's an XpressMusic phone. which means audio is king for this small jukephone. I do agree that the touchscreen just a little need more tweaking, but it's price does not justify it, so really, this phone is really good. The updated firmware thingy is irritating and disturbing however, maybe that's the major flaw between all the 5000's series.

I have one of these, but in Black... I downloaded Ovi maps for the 5800 so i pretty much have the GPS except it doesnt tell you where to go, you have maps on it so u can plan routes and stuff... also with the new updates, the contact scrolling is alot smoother... something i really like about it is that you can make your wallpaper change every minute from pictures you choose... I have no DATA plan from Tmobile or texting and use google voice via wifi for everything... sound quality is great

Listen guys I dont know what i should get Nokia 5230 or Nokia 5530. I personally don't use wi-fi a lot but all my friends suggest that i get the 5530 for the wi-fi and if I get the 5230 it will go out out of fashion due to no wi-fi . Again If I spend 10hours in 1 year where there is Wi-Fi , that's alot so i personally don't need wi-fi but what do you guys suggest?

@lukinu2 yes i suggest nokia 5530XM bcoz as this is an XpressMusic it audio quality is great its touch is much smoother then 5230 its audio quality is much better or i say louder then 5230 and it gives u quick response when u touch the screen then the5230 its camera quality is auite impressive frm 5230

trust at this time i m using both of the fone thats why i recomend u not to buy 5230

This is basically exactly the same as the 5800 only without 3G(right?) and 4 GB included memory card, from what I understand

Well, youtube runs really smoothely. But the problem is that mobile youtube has low quality. It is low quality on all phones. So the problem is NOT in 5530.

The youtube on my phone doesnt play right..just got it at xmas..no updates or anything like..It play them but every second it buffers and the sound is skippin and so is the video..any ideas?

Your connection might be slow. On mine, audio only skips when I am at the edge of range of the wifi. Otherwise both the vid and audio are smooth.
