Global warming may be due to the weakening of the magnetosphere allowing more of the sun's rays to penetrate the atmosphere. Volcanic eruptions do more damage than years of human pollution, the earth would be heating up even if humans didn't exist, and it's not the rainforests that do all the breathing to oxygenate earth, its the oceans algae.

Actually, CO2 captures the sun's rays so that they don't reflect out. As the polar caps melt, their color changes from white to black. Black absorbs more heat and white reflects.
