  • sluggish, and laggy, yuck reminds me of my wildfire htc that i want to smash to pieces

  • my thoughts: 1) 16 gig internal is totally not enough for flac file library. 2) its nice that the microSD gets treated as one large space in addition to the 16 gig internal. 3) is it just me or is it really really sluggish.....

  • contemplating this or a hifiman

  • This is crap

  • its not as good as the Hifiman 801but its not that far behind it either. the Hifiman is just for audio and is darn good as any audiophile will tell you but this one is a good all around device for audio and video. also for the price (about $160 for the 16g) its second to none.

  • would the 8GB Memory have 16gb internal memory

  • Comment removed

  • do u have to use iTunes or like Lime Wire of Frostwire

  • I do not deny that this device has good audio quality but saying "this device is on par with other more expensive hifi portable players" and "the other hifi players cost twice as much" is marketing BS and has no backbone as accurate refrences are not provided.

which other hifi portable device are you talking about?

  • too bad it doesn't work with window 7 64 bit...

    really wanted to buy it.

  • how could you possibly compare that to a nexus one? its not even a phone!

  • @fireclub493 He compared the size, idiot.

  • This player is considered like a demi-god about SQ on Head-Fi which is not an easy task. But they also consider the UI , look, feel etc..; To be TERRIBLE and usually Head Fi doesn't care about UI just SQ so when they say it sucks , it really sucks.

But... If you are an audiophile then this player may be the Graal you are seeking. It's a shame other manufacturer are not making any other MP3 players with this SQ ( One Wolfson 8740 on each channel lol wut?)

  • gee bee

  • when will it be back in stock?

  • is it worth trading a psp modded for?

  • @IamTKproductions If you like listing to music more then anything else then yes, otherwise not realy, because PSP can do alot of stuff this can't (as you know)

  • battery length...

  • Do the headphones jack and the line out jack work at same time? Can they be used for 2 person hear music at same time, each one with their headset (of course, one of them unable to change the volume on the player)?

  • this is perfect so no need to convert videos? downside is theres no radio i need radio might go for a zune hd if only zune has a lod

  • is the screen glass or some type of polymer and what is the back made of.

  • Looks pretty nice, especially for it's price

  • I'm only missing a anti reflation glass.

Watching videos on a mirror is not that great.

  • Hey raz on the site it says it has TV out now , is this correct?

  • I like what I see... even though I already have a beast of a WinMo phone to take care of my media needs, I still have a random urge to buy this :p

I had an s:flo and I loved it completely. A bit disappointed to see that this doesn't break the trend of Chinese players having no playlist support though... photo zoom/pan is pretty sweet!

...kinda seems like the UI isn't as smooth as the original s:flo...

  • Hi Raz, thanks 4 the review.

All headphones will work on the line-out plug??

The volume of the line-out can be controlled?

    Thanks

  • @Jraseck DID YOU ACTUALLY WATCH THE VIDEO?

  • Does S:Flo2 play lossless FLAC, APE and WV?

  • @unitim Plays lossless FLAC for sure.

  • is your site down

  • hey thx for review, great player but where can i download this samsung hd commercial?

  • for those that don't know: Scroll-wheels are better for volume control NOT cuz it's more accurate (it's actually less accurate than digital volume control) but more than it maintains the dynamic range when you turn it up unlike digital volume control ;)

  • Ugn raz I have no money and now you make me want this ha ha

  • the u.i looks cheap. i'm kinda disappointed since some of the other s-flows looked alot better.

  • Awesome awesome review. I'm loving my s:flo2 like there's no tomorrow! It truly is the best DAP I've heard yet.

    ps - I'm a hardcore seeker fan myself :)

  • cool.lppks nice but im happy with my stuff

  • "I won't break you I promise" XDDD I like that engraving

The main menu looks pretty cute :D I like the squares and colors. Music playback screen looks pretty too O.O wow. It looks like the song title comes out as the file name though ToT but the overall interface is really nice, I likey :DD

  • I dont like the interface

  • I just love those reviews, specially 'cause of your voice.

  • Hey Raz, what is the player made of? Plastic, aluminum, other?

  • The back shell (most of the enclosure) is made of metal, while the thing bezel around the screen surface is a type of plastic. All in all, it's a very high quality player that uses nice materials and great construction.

  • The front panel is also of a very high quality material which is very scratch resistant. The overall feel of the player is not cheap, its very, very nice.

  • Thanks for the info, I hope I can get one of these. It will totally blow my Zune away for music

  • mmm horrible touchscreen and lag menus

  • You need to give Youtube more time to process the video to HD.

  • Ah, didn't know that. :P Sorry. ^^

  • @razzer001 hey razzer would you recommend the nationite s:flow 2 or an archos vision 3
