Many things that Nostradamus said happened with superior accuracy. Yet, the other prophecies didnt happen and were totally inaccurate. For example, World War 3 didnt happen in 1999. Russia says that the American missile defense system is a direct threat to them. in response they have deployed Yars missile sytems on there borders that can evade the US Missile defense system set to be deployed in turkey and other bordering countries and have stated that they will also exit the START treaty over this. Also the US and Russia have deployed more warships to the middle east and Russia has deployed defensive missile systems on the coast of Syria. This may not be too far off.

Even the most ardent Nostradamus fan will have a hard time contriving a way to make these predictions look good. If you make generalized enough poetic statements, and given centuries and an entired world, they should all come true. I was never impressed with the quatrains, but I enjoy this movie. It was well done, and interesting.

This was one of my favorite movies! The future predictions really had me intrigued. This being the '80's I waited to see how this would unfold!! You know, if you just listen to what's said by the narrator without the visuals you'd see he was dead-on about 9/11. He was always known to be 1 or 2 yrs off. The quake hit CA in late '89. Hitler & Usama are similar to the two names he predicted; Hister and Mabus. But Usama being dead now, was he in-fact just a fore-runner to the real ATC? We'll see..

I remember feeling very scared when I saw this when I was a kid. Now, grown up I know what predictive programming is and propaganda. This was a very clever propaganda piece for its time in anticipation of the upcoming demonization of the middle eastern people to keep the war business cranking.

The inetpretations of his prophecies could have been incorrect. just because no world war happened in 99 doesn't mean that the beginning of the war couldnt have started then. could have been speaking of the first domino leading to the war. this also applies to other prophecies that seem inaccurate. remember, this was over 400 yrs ago that he wrote these.

Many things that Nostradamus said happened with superior accuracy. Yet, the other prophecies didnt happen and were totally inaccurate. For example, World War 3 didnt happen in 1999. I dont know if the guy had flaws when prophecying. But I would have to agree with him on where these antichrists came from and will come from. The two first antichrists were indeed from Europe, and I would agree that the 3rd will come from the middle east. Just my opinion.

SInce 2007 is already behind us, some experts are looking at the year 2070...but based on your logic, 2077 would seem to be a brilliant hypothesis on your part.
