Ha! that was hilarious! i think anyone who works with the public can relate to these sentiments. as for the language, it sounds exactly like what i hear in my head....as i'm saying "thank you for your input - i'll take that into consideration" ...which actually means stfu.
Also, I fix computers for a living and I run into the same thing once in a while. I'm not sure why everyone is upset about the swearing. It's how service people sometimes feel like addressing their more irritating customers and that's a big part of what makes it funny.
It would be almost perfect if you cut the lines near the end that bring politics into the matter...it's out of place and detracts from the main thrust of the video.
What is with the language? Yes, I deal with ignorant customers like this more often than not but degrading to foul language shows your lack of intelligence. But, I loved it, it is just how customers are! And, yeah, they many times want a free estimate just so they can get their want-a-be mechanic friend can fix it. But, then they come back and complain when their friend can fix it with your diagnosis. LOL
obviously you are that 1 in 10 billion. us mechanics see customers exactly like this once a week if not more. obviously you know more than any mechanic so why dont you fix your own car then and stop coming to us so we dont have to listen to your whiny, bitchy ass. so should be able to fix your own car since you say it doesnt take a drs degree to do it. id really like to know what you do for a living so i can come bitch at you about how you rip people off at your job. good luck getin ur car fixed!
im a customer. I fuckin hate mechanics that are liars and fix things that dont need to be fixed. Ive had an argument with every mechanic that isnt an ASE certified.
Mechanics need to learn that fixing cars isnt like have a Dr's degree so dont charge too much and customers will be flying back to you.
Fuck all mechanics that are cheaters to customers.
Also customers like this one on the video never usually occur. Maybe 1 in 10 billion times. Mechanics just over exagerate things.
i wish i was alould to speak to customs like that some of them realy deserve it some people are just plain ignorant , i love being a mechanic but its unbelievable how many ass holes like that we have to deal with
@RiceRacerH8R I got 22 years under my belt, you're failing to realize that the internet is uncensored and raw. Try dropping some f-bombs, it feels REAL fuckin' good!
^ Typical fool. The customer was another one of those idiotic people who think the process of using an engine to power a car is a simple system. It could be a whole list of other things rather than an alternator, and if he listened to the guy, and it didn't fix the problem, then the same guy would have hounded him, and tried to do to him what he did to the other mechanics.
Work would be so much better without the customers.
@TheHevquip Were you born that stupid? or did you have to practice? You clearly have never worked in a repair facility. We get this a lot at our shop, someone comes in, says 'change this part'. we change the part, then they flip out because the problem they were having initially (That they never explained to us) still exists, and accuse us of ripping them off. Then they get really irate when we tell them it will cost an hour of labor to tell them what's actually wrong...
So true. It happens way to often. If half of the customers that are like this knew half of the stuff that we know, their tiny little brains would burn out.
this sounds like typical dumbass customers that come in our shop. they tell you what they want done and when it does'nt fix it they are pissed. they want free diagnosis after their repair did not fix it.
Not in the industry so i don't know if this is true. I'm more like the fake wanna be mechanic but I don't go telling other people what is wrong and convince them its the absolute problem.
Pay to TEST the alternator? There are probably 3 auto parts stores that will do that for free.
There are d-head customers and d-head mechanics.
