I feel sorry for u man, it appears ur in the states!...here in europe the 2ZZGE stays in lift from 1st-2nd. revs to 8.5K. Still loving the noise! Respect to the 2ZZ in all its forms from europe to americas to the orient!

De verdad q soy fanatico de los xrs. Pero noto algo en tu carro y es abre bien duro pero se tarda mucho en revolucionar. No se si sea que le falta escape. Al motor tener mucha entrada de aire pero al no encontrar escape la misma compresion del motor provoca el sonido tan lindo q ase tu carro. Digo esto por q eso le pasa a mucha gente montan intake sin tuberia. Es solo una sugerencia pero admiro el lift de tu carro.

Cant stay in lift, thats the problem. I guess Toyota set it so high because they thought grannies would be buying em. Grannies dont rev much past 6k, and they would shit themselves if it kicked at 5500.

@Sxxy59wa6 its because of american regulations on exhaust gasses isnt it? it certainly stays in lift in europe. I own two 2zzge's. different gear ratios, exhausts, intakes and ecu's[1 lotus, 1 toyota both stock] and they both stay in lift when changing gear. So maybe its not toyota to blame. I think the stock engine makes more power over here too.

@MageMeister i think that has minimal effects on what the engine RPM drops to between gear changes. Most people in the states complain about the lift activation between 1st and 2nd, Ive got 17's on my toyota with 45mm depth tyres and it changes fine.

@Imreadingthisaloud Yeah it's only the XRS that hits lift @6800rpm, makes it near impossible to land in lift unless you get crazy wheelspin going into 2nd. However other 2ZZ powered vehicles around the world hit lift @6000rpm (for example my Corolla Sportivo in Aus) and it's fine with landing in lift.

@Sxxy59wa6 XRS isnt sold in europe. All the 2zz's in toyota's here are at 6K. The lotus is about 5750. Dont think its because of grannies. Think its cos the bottom end and lower profile cam is pretty effective as it is.

@edison19920 no se puede chipiar la computadora. La compu de los xrs son inteligentes y si seteas algo la misma compu te resetea todo devuelta. Tienes que comprar la computadora progamable Ape PFC y la rabiza y pudes bajar el lift pointa donde tu kieras.

@tonguixrs el lift point no se puede poner donde tede la gana solamente y unicamente es donde el motor le guste;ha! y el lift cambia dependiendo la modificaciones que tengas.

@volcandechocolate yo se que no se debe poner donde tu quieras por ke eso lastima al motor. Los lift points mas seguros son 5,550 a 6,000 rpms sin problema alguno. Y las modificaciones no tienen que ver con el lift, tu puedes tener intake nada mas y todavia ponerle el lift @ 5,800.

@tonguixrs con todo respeto tonguixrs esto no es tiraera si no orientacion ; yo no diria que el lift point mas seguro fuese de 5,500 a 6,000 si no que el lift mas productivo son a esas revoluciones por eso digo que dependiendo las modificaciones que tu tengas en tu corolla es donde el motor le guste el lift ;ha y todos los xrs no son iguales ;porque yo puedo tener los mismitos cantos que usted y el tuyo le guste a 5,000 y el mio a 6,000 pero nada aqui un amigo ,cualquier duda me dejas saber! :)
