Cool, but i prefer the ralph mctell version of Streets of London, cool seeing thses places i know so well though, especially Elephant and Castle, know that area very well! Wooo london!
Hey pixelchick, a great collection of vids of London. The people of Youtube should be very proud. I only wish I watched vlogs about 5 months ago to get a shout.. but going there in Febuary, so all is not lost. xx
Thanks greencj! That is such a nice compliment. :)
No unfortunately I don't speak Japanese. I used to tutor Japanese students in conversational English so I know the usual thank you, hello, goodbye, etc. I do however speak Korean.
Hi pixelchick, it's nice to see other people making videos about London, thanks for the upload! I've made a few, too, maybe you can check them out some time. :) But yeah, I like your editing and you're a cool presenter. See you later pixel!
Thank you so much Rahmanqureshi! I appreciate your video response it's really cool! Looking forward to seeing your other vids. Thanx so much for your comments!
Great video series. We all thought it was awesome and really appreciate the trouble and time you went to to do this. Again thank you and hope to hear from you soon. Beth
Thank you Beth! It was no trouble at all. I mean would you pass up a sunny sight-seeing day in London? I really appreciate that you enjoyed the series.
I'll be vlogging here soon enough...er or attempting to again anyway. Thanks again! :)
Hey Pixelchick, thanks for putting my name on your video, you can't imagine how pleased I felt when I saw it and I really feel it as a special gesture from a very special girl like you ;). With the little I have gotten to know you through your videos I can dare to say: never change!.
Yep...I did notice, and for that "No favoritism policy" I didn't mention it in my first comment ;)thanks again, great trilogy you've come up with. Keep going like that.
My favorite is hard to pick it's a real close one between Abbey Road, The Diana Memorial and Hyde Park. As for worse...well, that's easy...Whitechapel.I'm sure it's a fine community, but I couldn't find anyone who spoke English and there were no touristy things about Jack the Ripper. I hear they have night tours though, so that might be cool, but in the day...not much!
You probably all ready know this but in the 1880's Whitechapel was one of the poorest area's in London with lots of residents living in abject poverty. Today it is still a poor area with a large immigrant community.
Yeah madbob! I was reading up on it and it's been considered the East End slums since back in the 1500's. And with World War II bombings, not much of the old architecture from the Jack the Ripper times remains. So, that's pretty sad.
Yeah sorry buttsurfer! Thanks for watching my vids and I appreciate yer comments. I'll see if I can find some way to give you a cool shout-out in the future, k?
Glad you liked it Les! The Science Museum was REALLY cool! They actually had a lot of interesting cars in there. they even had one cut in half from top to bottom with plexi-glass over the side that showed the...uh...innards? That was pretty neat. ooo and lotsa space stuff. We didn't stay too long, but we had to stop and take a look.
Hi kwbsystems! Sweeet! I'm so glad you appreciated the work that went into this. For now I'm gonna be relaxin' in my computer chair and watch some YT. I have plans for upcoming videos though don't u worry!
Very nice tribute to Princess Di. I didn't know how nice the memorial to the Princess is. IMHO, this is a better place for a shoutout than Centre Court, Wimbledon. Thank you for the shoutout and congrats on a job well done, I know it was a lot of work.
Wow. I wanted to stop the video after my shoutout to comment, but I let the video roll. Really great. And I am suprised at my reaction to being remembered by you in your video. I am very touched. To have my username mentioned so far away is really neat.
After reading your comment intracoast I just had to sit here and smile. I'm so glad that this small thing I could do for you could make you feel that way. It is really neat for me too.
KEWL...My f1rst shout-out...ya know, pixelchick, you always remember your first time! The number 2:35 will always have a special meaning to me now!lol
I was glad to see you got Elton in here.I've been a follower of Elton forever.I could have changed my name to Captain Fantastic but that sounds a little high falluting. This could not have been done any better, everything was perfect. You certainly deserve a break,so no painting, just Youtube for a while and make Hugh do the cooking.
I could've sworn I replied to you steely...DARN YT!!!
Anyway what I said was:
Yeah! Elton ROCKS! ...oh and 'Hugh' surprisingly did do the cooking during the editing of these. Basically, he slid a tray under the door while I threw things around the room in frustration of WMM constantly locking up....hehe ;)
*FreeWingz give Michelle (pixelchick) a standing ovation for a job well done on her London shout-out series* ... Shout outs will never be the same after making this series. I can't wait to see you make another shout out series when you reach a thousand subscribers.. you might need an Executive Director's account for that! Tell your hubby thanks for us too.. I know he helped alot being behind the scenes.
LoLz.. I'm sorry I'm back and that comment about perhaps forgetting someone's name made me laugh so hard i'm in tears. Now everytime I lose a subscriber, I'm going to remember this and crack up laughing!
