I think people really need to see that this form of racism is a direct consequence of European colonialism. By being racists, we are reproducing their logic: that we are all inferior to Europeans. Iranians, Afghans, Kurds, Tajiks, etc. are all Iranic people (and i don't mean this in the sense of Iranian nationalism) and should treat each other as members of the same family.
