  • Breathtaking!

  • My fav Emily song.

  • very beautiful. But in my opinion you have to stop doing songs, and start to prove more serius things, study more, listen orchestral works. You could be the continuer of Mahler, shostakovich and Ravel. And dont forget bach, even Luigi.

i tell you this because i´m afraid you loose time in front of cameras and then be too late to hear your beautiful music.

    your are mozart. i´m beethoven.

  • I'm glad to see other pianist play "Northern Lights" on YouTube so that when I tune back to Emily the musicality of her playing just blows me over. She may not have the best piano technique but she makes every phrase special.

  • heavenly...

  • @jowjim Can you upload your songs then? I'd like to hear them!

  • she inspires me... a lot... :D she's the reason why I started composing songs.. thanks emily! <3

  • @jowjim really? She inspire me to compose too and i have own Compositions online ;) But teh real reason i started playing Piano was this beautfiull Soundtrack sadness and Sorrow <3

  • @jowjim same here! emily's my inspiration to compose. i've alreay compose 10 of my own songs.

  • wonderful - we have our own Mozart. Isn't it fun!

  • I know its her own piece but I prefer this song, esp. the low notes, to be played POWERFULLY, as you can see in her video titled EMILY BEAR - 7 years old - plays "Northern Lights" -- an Original Piano Composition. The less gentle version is much more befitting to the wild and harsh yet beautiful northern land.

  • "Northern Lights" - could not detect anything that was not original - may be wrong but I think it a master piece. Other pianists will be playing it. Bravo Emily.

  • didn't she write this for her piano teacher whos sick??....

  • @PaigeluvsJOE214 No, the one she wrote for her piano teacher is called "Rosario Sings" :)

  • So true!! her music make cry, i guess i feel hope every time i listen to her music

  • amazing!!! :o

  • Emily bear is MY inspiration not Beethoven not Mozart but EMILY BEAR... Im a 14 yr old dude by the way, and unlike my friends who might find this boring, f**k them, I find this s**t beautiful as hell... Im sorry I mean heaven... Srry for the language btw...

  • I'd love to write a song using this as the piano.

  • @girlygirlgg226 Yeah, my piano teacher has a Kawai grand and it is AMAZING! I played a Steinway concert grand yesterday at a showroom, but that's the only piano that I've encountered that's better than my teacher's.

  • Wow! :)

  • Wicked talent!! The look on her face is one of enjoyment. Reminds me of when I was playing guitar. I need to pick it up and relive the feeling.

  • Her dynamics and the intricate tones she's getting from the piano have gotten richer and more nuanced in the last year or so. This is one of my favorites of her compositions. Very expressive and absolutely lovely!

  • wowwwww loveee this song amazing and what is more amazing is that she is so young .

  • Emily doesn't quite seem like the sparkling ball of energy she was two years ago. She seems like she's thinking deeper into the feelings of the music.

  • Beautiful, thank you Emily!

  • wow, amazing

  • even if she was 50 this would be amazing talent. the fact that she is so young just makes it more amazing

  • She looks so much OLDER in this video!

  • @EmilyBearfan. she matures she ist really a master. she plays music. she is music. her music is breathing. she is live, she is now. she is love!
