The piano player, Martin Cook, started this group with a bunch of college friends. He is a relative of mine and he played piano in our little church every Sunday when I was 10 years old. . Have you ever heard Mike sing lead? I have a tape with them doing the "Preacher Boy Quartet" and they swap parts and Mike sings lead, Troy sing bass, Archie, Baritone and Eddie sings tenor, and it's wonderful! Mike does a fantastic job on lead on that song. How many quartets do you know who can swap parts around like that? Not many!

That's an F1, the 2nd-lowest F on the piano.

I personally like Mike better when he goes up to the baritone range (i.e. after the 2nd verse). His vocal power is unmatched in that middle register.
