Number of casualties due to WW2 in the USSR: 24 million (as in, killed by axis forces).

If Stalin were to have killed 80 million of his own people, the Soviet population would have been SIGNIFICANTLY less by 1951. Either that, or you need to count people who died during WW2, died of age and died of disease as killed by stalin.
