I disagree.

Firstly, it's hard to hear anything looped over the rhythmic clap, which is where anyone looping it would hide the sound the re-cycle.

Secondly, Chesters voice has tiny artifacts/imperfections in just about every 2 beat phrase of the scream, which are unique only to that section and never repeated, meaning it was recorded "as is."

@scottboggs Not sure he "clipped" anything in particular. It's possible that in the process of mixing, his voice was distorted a small amount by a Distressor-style or heavy 1176-style compressor, but I doubt anything was clipped at the recording stage. This vocal was recorded at NRG Studios, Hollywood, with a team of top notch engineers, I sure they would have avoided any clipping. Regardless, it's a cool performance and cool sounds, however they achieved it.
