Just a question... I guess that every new born player (nooby;) will choose Pirate and I also guess that they will be far too many... This means that the few and good rest of the players will choose Span, Fran, Eng??? I dunno... Just a guess...

PotBS is 10 times more interesting combat wise then EVE. I got rid of two eve accounts to play potbs. 55mil sp Eve account, gone. With server merges coming, now is a great time to join and unlike eve, in 2-3 weeks playing you can be capped out skill wize and killing like a madman.

I wouldn't say better, but definitely different. LOTRO has a great PvE game and has the whole LotR theme to it. Two very different games.

Depth crafting and economy. PvP focused MMO with territory control. Once the map is conquered, it resets the system so power is able to shift and no one side completely dominates for too long.

game looks like fun, I'm tempted to try it, but I like the game I am playing now (EVE Online). They seem somewhat similar, but set in different periods and PotBS seems to have a little more to the combat(with boarding and stuff).  However, what is the rest of the game like? Is it pretty deep?
