I think it's more dangerous to let him mow without hearing protection. Even adults should use hearing protection. Lawn mowers are usually around 120 decibels. That's almost as loud as some planes!

He doesn't do this on a constantly basis people.... it was just for one minute.... we didnt have the lawnmower on for a long period of time... AND YES I AM WITH YOU IN REGARDS TO SAFETY HAZARDS IN PROTECTING YOUR HEARING.... ESPECIALLY FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.... REMEMBER SAFETY FIRST!
