  • Great performace !

I wana original by dvd or blue-lay

  • この映像は スゴい貴重.素晴らしいです,感謝

  • Amazing!!!

  • I like her style.

  • No one gives her credit, but Kyung Wha Chung may be the first major Asian violinist not only to captivate the listeners, but the men as well. Just ask Charles Dutoit.

  • Great performance!

I found another noteworthy performance (with better sound too), by Xiang Yu on youtube.

  • Such a fierce musician! I love her, always so alive! She will never grow old in spirit!

  • her interpretation of the d minor partita is the best i ever heard. holy ciaccona!!!

  • she looks pretty(:

  • KWC once again showing why she's one of my all-time favorite violinists.

  • her playing makes it so, i think

    A complete musician, she is...

  • Oh My Goodness... I just decided I want this to be played at my funeral... in hopes that its enchanting yet haunting melody will raise me from the dead and let me live just long enough to hear this piece one last time! This is now my all time favorite solo piece of all time!!!!

  • HAHA! :D

For a funeral? While everyone is mourning, they will be scared!

  • Oh.. a thrill of horror..

  • She is amazing!

  • oh wow.

  • correction: she really brings it to "life" not like. oops.

  • This piece is so frantic and crazy..erattic..disturbed..and she really brings it to like...she was great in the first half when she was around 28 or so..and I think she is even better in the 2002 clip when she must have been around 54. Great Great Great musician and artist. weird composition though...it took me to the edge ALMOST to the point where I was like.."oh boy...wacky..forget this"..but it held back just enough that it kept my musical interest. Different and a bit, "out there".

  • wowwowowowowowowowowow coool That is amazing!!!

  • wow, what a piece. I hadn't heard this before. Crazy, wild. I like Szymanowsky.

  • WHOAA!!!!

  • oh my god

  • This composition always helps speed up my mind a bit. The song is so driven to be played.

  • Fantastic musician.

    Perfect interpretation!

  • Her violin seems to break in the first half. But very virtuosic, no doubt! I fell in love with her. I think Chung is the spirit behind South Korea's rise to being an economic tiger.

  • Weird! But well done!

  • very cool

  • 天!這種譜要怎麼記呀???

    嗚嗚 記了前面忘了後面

  • OMG!!!!!!!

I want to know how old was she when playing this?

    Gorgeous!!!

    Perfect skills!

    Outstanding interpretation!

She's always the most lovely fairy in my heart.

  • Ms Chung was born in 1948. The first half of the video was, I believe, was filmed sometime between 1976 and 1977in NY. The second half was taken in 2002 in Korea.

  • Thank you! I previously thought she was about 25 in the first half. She always has the magic to arouse my emotion, especially when I'm depressed.

    Fantastic musician.

  • I love this woman so very much, fabulous! Thanks.

  • So exciting!

  • OH. MY. GOD

  • very clever use of the video clip....she is still wonderful.

  • I love her and her violin. I think that the violin is a part of her body.. they're one.

  • Love Kyung

  • so intense

  • oh i love this piece
