Nice take on the 2nd amendment - i think its original purpose was to protect the individuals from a totalitarian government, foremost.
Some countries in Europe are actually going the route of the free-market (unlike the US). From the recent German elections the Social Democratic Party lost many seats, in favor of a conservative government and a free-market approach in the economy.
