sometimes i have the problem where I start talking however it doesn't record for like 3 seconds however the gameplay still goes and therefore I miss out on parts of my commentary or some of it gets left out

Just a suggestion when you go to quality and click best Auto. click best full instead. Its a common mistake but it will increase your quality, u should try it

hey idk if u did all the effects in this video like u would usally do to upload a game but u to get good quality u should add color corrector (not sencondary) and mess with the settings. add color curves add sharpen (0.0) ... thats usally wat i put on my vids im not being mean im just giving u a tip
