Rage is one of those games, where the quest holders are like " Go to the next ridge and get me some shot gun shells ". Then when you get there, a guys like " Ill give you these shells if you fix my truck ". Then, " Yah ill give you the parts for this truck if youll go kill this thing ". Then, " Oh to kill this you need some armor peircing rounds, ill give you a few if youll jack me off ".

Just because Rage and Borderlands share a theme doesn't make Rage unoriginal, because the exact same thing could be said about Borderlands and Fallout. And Halo and Doom. Dead Space and Resident Evil 4, if you stretched the comparison.

Fact is, Rage is a unique game with unique gameplay just like Borderlands was unique.
