  • They are just as popular as the short necks in South Australia. The short neck we have is close to 20 years old. Our turtle was the size of a 50cent coin when, as a child, we bought it. A further recomendation for potential tutle owners is to be prepared for the growth of the turtle, room for larger tank or pond. Durning moderate sunny days, our tutle likes be in the garden. Interesting enough it still has no name...

  • i have one of these but he is ill, can anyone help?? he coughs and sneezes and he wont eat :(

  • Dang that thing is freeky

  • That isnt an eastern snake neck turtle... looks more like an northern snake necked or broad-shelled turtle...

  • just ask your local pet shops, they usually have to be ordered in depending on where you live

  • aww its lovely :)

  • in some countrys these turtles would be caught by local people and eaten...kinda sad that people have to do that to survive and will be helping these turtles go extinct .... these turtles are awsome tho and i dont no why anyone would eat them or any turtle at all

  • how much do thay go for turtle looks cool

  • the turtle looks mad

  • I don't really like the turtle. It is sort of ugly. NO OFFENSE. It just creeps me out.

  • It's not a foreign turtle once they are captive bred

  • ye itz fukkin cruel having a turtle imported and given to anyone who doesent no anything then they die after being imported and having been fukked up from that -- turtles are bad pets for people who dont have the knolege and money to care for them

  • Most turtles are now bred in the states due to all the disease and parasites that wild turtles carry.

  • Turtles are the new aquatic dog. They're more hardy and are true life time companions. With Austin's turtle page and many care sheets online turtle keepers are more knowledgable about the quality of life for a turtle

  • turtle care? bad name.

  • wow and natives who eat turtles have more of a conscience? you're an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • you're a descendent of scum..just a tainted line..fuck yourself

  • hi, I'm from Australia, I see these turtles regularly as I live near wetlands. Any suburban lake has these turtles in them actually! It was spawning time for the turtles the other day. It was a full moon and they were crawling around looking for sand dunes to lay eggs in. Its hard for them to find sand around the lakes now because of mans encroachment into their territory. The turtles are as tough as guts though and breed well. They are quite numerous.

  • Thanks for the vid

  • cool! So how do I find out more of this species or this video?

  • how the fuck is this a care video?

  • its a penis turtle
