The world banking system should be regulated by the U.N. There should be a limit of the amount of money deposited by wealthy people who are citizens from the third world countries, such as the Philippines.

Jesus Arranza has links to SMC and seems not really care for farmers or their families - it is widely reported that he exploits farmers and has been involved in underhend dealings.

We must never forget Renato 'Ka Rene' Peñas who was murdered 6 June this year.

Ka Rene was a good man who stood up for the rights of Sumilao farmers against the likes of San Miguel.

He was instrumental in the 1700km walk to Manila and undertook a hunger strike in 1997 to bring about agrarian reform.

A pacifist and a widely respected man, his death left the local community in deep shock and with even more resolve to stand up for their rights.

His murder still remains unsolved.
