My family and I watched this movie on Netflix. It was a good movie. My mom and dad actually said they wanted this kind of lifestyle for me. Having kids, and settling down with someone. Probably the first decent gay movie that we watched as a family. WE LOVED IT! =)

Definitely one of my favourite movies. Believe it or not, this is one of the first movies Ive seen that may be even better than the book. The only thing lacking in the movie, however, was romantic chemistry between Sam and Eric. Other than that, I absolutely loved it.

It's also a safe movie to bring a kid to if you want to introduce the idea of gender identity and how we are all different.

"Hollywood" is a bit of a stretch - this is a Canadian film (not that I'm not proud of my country, I'm just sayin'), it's not a big-budget blockbuster.

The film itself is very sweet, it's definitely worth watching. Don't judge it before you see it.
