My blue rams are breeding all the time, but I raise separately since there are discus fish in the same tank. I try feeding egg yolk suspension and baby brine shrimp with the very limited success. PLease help with any info on better foods?
Mom & Dad are known/said to start snacking on their fry, after they become free swimming. So, it is said that, it's best to take the fry out after about 5 days of free swimming (you can leave some in the tank with Mom & Dad, so they can have a go at raising the fry, too). BUT, my Bolivian Pairs (I have 2 pairs), both don't snack on their fry, so I leave the fry in the tank with Mom & Dad till they are ready to spawn again, which is usually in about a month time.
Hey Im getting a pair of boliv rams. what should i feed th efry on day 1 when can I start with brine shrimp

Well tell more the lovely spawn. What has happened to them, since this film made? What did you feed them? What size tank is this?
