I feel as though the makers of this game knew nothing about Karas. It's as though they only saw the first episode (or the first 1/3rd of the Prophecy). All his hypers were taken from ONE fight scene, ONE 4 minute fight scene.

Damage scaling makes the game fun. Remember Killer Instinct? Once your opponent got a hit in, you could just drop your controller because he could just kill you in one combo....

Karas is kinda weak comparing his 20 and 10 hit combos to Zero's simple 9 to 15 hit combos......

So this video is just showing fancy pants moves but not any strong ones. I mean is it really necessary to actually kill your fingers just to do little damage? Well, I'll put five stars for putting the nice combo count in the combo.

That is usually the trade off. Karas has pretty good rush down, he is quick and has remarkable range for a close range fighter. Unfortunately that means that to keep him balanced he has horrible armor and doesn't do that damage. But he can set up a combo from nearly anything. You can do standing l>m>h> kasha> shiranui. He isn't all that weak in fact. He is pretty much the Gouki/Akuma of this game.

True, Zero is stronger and Zero has better endurance, but his rushdown is not even close to Karas. Also, Karas has better zoning than Zero does, even with the lack of a fireball. Karas' blade range is also superior. If anything, Soki is the better swordsman on the Capcom side of thing because he has comparable range and rush down.

u mean baroque? baroque can be done by any attack button + assist button at the same time. its used for the red meter in your health bar to increase damage if you wanted to know

I find the combos in TVC really simple to pull off, in comparison to BlazBlue anyway, but it still takes more than just combos to go up against some of these guys online.. gotta get a hang of blocking haha

I've played TVC US version and its different, but not sure if people are still going to play it. Joe the condor and jun the swan make a good team and I found a combo with tekkaman blade that takes half your life without baroque or mega crash.
