i live in florida and south beach is overrated. it's great if you like a lot of people (some of the best looking girls around) or like to party. but i'm not really into that, i think the keys are awesome though. any beach in the keys you find is amazing, usually they're pretty secluded and if you want a beach to yourself it's not too hard to find. plus the atmosphere all around is very laid back and tropical. the keys i highly recommend visiting

Delphines is a place to swim and sunbathe only and is beautiful in a blue sky, blue water and white sand feeling, kinda far from the lively atmosphere to walk. Boracay on the other hand has a lot of shops and restaurants steps from the shore. My choice is Boracay since there're a lot more options in walking distance and it's breathtaking in a tropical island sort of way so there're a lot of colors and natural formations. The sand in boracay is faded white and very fine like flour almost!!

Ha, good list - I'm lucky and have actually been to 7 of the places listed (Phuket, Bali, Fiji, Maldives, El Nido, Boracay and Phi Phi) and know them well, and can say that in my opinion they certainly all deserve to be there, with the exception of Phuket (which has very nice beaches, but not top 20) and Bali, whose beaches are actually not that great - Lombok's instead. El Nido should be higher as it is truly unbelievable, and a far more beautiful all round setting than Boracay or most others!

@eskimoblue Out of the 4 you've said, without question it's Boracay! Phi Phi Leh (where they filmed the movie 'The Beach') is beautiful but as a long stretch of immaculate white sand with perfect crystal clear water Boracay is miles above those on Phuket or Bali (though they're huge islands with dozens of beaches, so a bit generalised), and beats Phi Phi too in my opinion, though the landscape is nothing like as dramatic.
