Is that full speed? I have a virgin pendolino train set when I put on full speed it all ways de rails!! my track isent stright so maybe de rails because of it.
Hi, thanks for the info. I tried mine on DC and it shifts a lot. probably because its not desgined for DCC its not a fast mover, perhaps time to move to a larger power adaptor which is avail. Have ordered a new voyager which came today 2nd hand which I will use on DC for its speed.
Hi, usually you can just hard-wire a decoder stright into any ready to run locos which are DC powered, where as DCC Ready it's just plug and play. When adding DCC to older locos, it can be tricky, which is where I'd consult more expert dcc user, try the Hornby forums or magazines etc. Hope this helps.
oo right?? i have the n gauge version but motor is broke

No it's not full speed. I wouldn't trust it at that kind of pace.

Is that DCC or on DC? I am running mine on DCC and have just taken a vid of mine at full speed and its not as fast as yours.

Is that sound chipped?
Yownanymous 4 years ago
No it's just the noise of the track. I never put cork insulation down so the track was pinned directly to the baseboard. Bit of a mistake actually.
